How to store your emergency key

Corner of a newspaper with the date on it. Mistress signs it then it is laid on apiece of clear packing tape then key set on it then tape is folded over top to seal it all together then cut to size it has been in my wallet for so long I forget it is there. Since cb2000 came out.

 

My solution for my key - I mailed my other key to my online kh

 

The little flat plastic cases that SD cards come in are an ideal size and shape.
Drill a small hole right through the case, put the key inside, wrap with clear tape and then put a numbered tag through the holes and the key.

I've had one of these. It is extremely brittle plastic. Kinda on the level of a toy from a cereal box. Not secure at all.

 

A Keysure Key Safe.

 

She wrote a love note on a card, taped the spare key to it, and sealed it in a decorative envelope. In two years, I’ve had to use it once. It was a nice note.

She has it hidden somewhere, I assume it’s in the house, but who knows...could be in her car, secret stash in purse, at work who knows

 

My wife keeps it in her office. Recently, she came up with another plan that was brilliant. She painted the key with nail polish and then put it on a chain around my neck. She said "I'm tired of people asking about it. Your wear it for a week. Don't get any bright ideas as only I know what shade I used."

Perfect 14 dollar answer. She puts it right in my lunch box. You could lock it to somewhere in your car too. I have to text her for the number.

No emergency keys unfortunately. She has both of her keys to my cage stored in a safety deposit box at a bank

 

Due to my job, the key wouldn't be permissible to wear, so I hide the key in our house. he has another key which is kept in a lock box in case of emergency.

 

We just figured out an easy solution--i lay the key inside of a strip of painter's tape and then fold the extra back over the key. Then my Keyholder Wife signs the outside. This fits nicely inside my wallet.

I show it to Her at least once a week or upon demand to show that i haven't accessed it. Simple. Cheap. Effective.

From an older newspaper cut out 50x80 part. With a marker have something written to it. And using see through tape secure the key.
