    For me it is keeping the key because I want it for myself not because he doesn't need it, in the most simplest of terms. I've been approached by others who wanted me to tell them they're worthless, that their penis was small, that they were a piece of crap, all that sort of thing which wasn't a turn on for me at all. He approached me in a way that was more me being selfish and wanting it all for myself versus the other.

    I agree on men needing to be more selfless. That said, I wish more women could comprehend what it's all about, too. I wish more of them initiated chastity for their dudes, rather than having to be introduced. Frankly, I think there are a lot of guys out there unable to figure themselves out because they can't find a partner to experiment with and learn and grow. (Especially in light of society's expectations of macho manhood, so they stuff it all down, then it comes out awkwardly.)

    welcome. I totally agree with your approach. I started off on this journey with the usual humiliation kink, but quickly realised that it was meaningless, and that chastity is about a willingness to engage with someone on a different level.

    While I certainly understand that you prefer not to degrade the man you hold the keys to, the very notion of male chastity is power exchange and this more often then not triggers feelings of inferiority and desperation in the male that is kept chaste. Is it not advantageous for the KH to foster those feelings in him and validate his inferiority?

    Not everyone is wired the same. I’m into chastity, I find it a whole new experience. To be clear though, I’ve never shared this interest intimately with another person. I do feel that I get where @PrincessLiddle1 is coming from (at least I think I do). She wants what I would call a giver. Someone who wants to be equals however the focus is on her needs for comfort, health and intimacy. All of that can be done without having a person grovel at her feet. Someone that she shouldn’t have to put down, deny or otherwise be mean to in order to get that.

    Not necessarily. It's different for each dynamic I think it depends on what people want from the dynamic. I enjoy a man wanting me to the point of giving me full control over his sexuality, not because he doesn't desire it but because it is something he holds so dear. That he wants to show how much he desires my company. I know my worth, and as another member stated in different thread, I want a man who is worthy of my time and energy. I am not looking for a fight, for it to be something he is trying to sneak out of, and that I have no desire to degrade him; if he isn't a good fit for me I would prefer to thank him for his time and part ways. I want it to be fun and flirty, to be seduced and enticed on fun dates where I can learn about him and tease and see his desire grow. A boyfriend and partner who wants to give me something he holds *very* dear to show these feelings he has for me. :)

    Well said, @PrincessLiddle1. There are an infinite number of kinks and persuasions. I've always found the insulting and derogatory ones to be of little interest. To each his/her own, of course. My girlfriend (and keyholder) has total control over what my penis can do sexually. Teasing is a big part of that dynamic. There's no need for insults. Ours is a very kind and loving relationship. I'd do whatever made her happy, independent of having a cage locked on. It's her having total control that works for us.
