    Keyholder/wife and I have been playing with chastity for about 6 months. She rarely keeps me locked up for more than a day and I usually go 3 or more days between lock ups. A couple of months ago I told her I had a “surprise” planned for her.
    Tomorrow, while I’m home and she’s at work, I’m going to lock myself in my chastity cage, then grind down the keys with a Dremel tool.

    I found a video on YouTube of a woman supposedly melting the key to her husband’s chastity cage with a blowtorch. I was excited by the idea, but I don’t have a blowtorch.

    If she rarely locks you for more then a day why would she suddenly think this was a good idea? Does she never eeeeever want any PIV from you again???

    If your just expressing fantasies that’s one thing but if your serious then your being totally selfish and not thinking of her at all

    The arrangement he describes is similar to what my wife and I use. I know where the keys are, and can use them in an emergency. But if I do... Well, I don't. It's on the honor system. I love my wife, I'm thankful for the opportunity for her to cage me, so I don't cheat.

    However, if I suddenly decided to destroy the keys or glue the lock without telling her, that's an equal betrayal of the system. She's the keyholder. It's her and her alone who decides how that works. Otherwise, what's the point?

    Like I said, we use the cage more for play. She wears the keys on a necklace when I’m in the cage. When it’s not on me, the cage and keys are in our “toy box”.

    Before anyone else has a chance to tell me what a colossally bad idea this is, let me reassure you of a few things.
    First, there is a way out of the cage that doesn’t involve destroying it or the lock (it’s a cylinder/barrel type lock). The cage and lock will be perfectly usable afterwards - no, I didn’t make copies of the keys.
    Second, I know my wife. I wouldn’t do anything that would truly upset her. Those who have expressed concern are doing so based on how their Wife/Keyholder would react.

    Well, with *no other context*, it's perfectly understandable that rational people would have thought it to be a bad idea.

    for me i cannot see the reason to threaten to do this as if it is something really big but then state that is isnt really all that much of a problem to get it back off anyway? who are you trying to excite with the idea? surely it cant be the wife it must just be for you to get excited reading it back to yourself online. Ah well everyone to their own ideas.

    It wouldn't surprise me if you did destroy your keys. I simultaneously don't doubt you can get out as easily as you destroy your keys. Reality is you'll probably NEED to get out of your device in the future for general maintenance so all you're really doing is forcing yourself to destroy the device or the locks in the near future.

    Not to mention playing out your fantasy and not hers. I concur with others is not a great idea.

    I once had a PA lock refuse to open... I mean totally stuck. I had to use massive bolt cutters to cut the cage to pull the PA lock through and then use them again to cut off the PA lock. All this was due to bad luck, my wife and I had no intention of myself being locked in forever.

    I've never used a PA lock again nor any lock other than a padlock, no integrated. I tossed the others. I still have a PA and use a ring.

    Long term can be fun, forever is insane.

    For us, chastity is more like extended foreplay. When she tells me to lock myself in the cage it’s because she wants to have sex in the near future. It doesn’t matter how many ways or times she orgasms, she still craves having me inside her.
    The overall intent of this “surprise” is a bit of role reversal. Teasing and denial are key (pun intended) elements in chastity play, only this time she’ll be the one being teased for a bit.
