    I recall having a political discussion with an older relative while I was in my early 20s. At the end, the older relative was dismissive of my view and stated "you're young - wait until you are a little older - your view will change." That statement greatly angered me at the time. Then, I grew older. My views did changed. Upon reflection, those views are now aligned with my older relative's views. What's that cliché? A young adult thinks they know everything while an older adult knows that they do not.

    Mistress Lucy, I would submit to you that you have a very narrow view of chastity based upon your personal experiences and, quite frankly, your age. I would also submit to you that your generalizations based upon ONLY your personal experiences have offended others. The offense is not because of your personal experiences, but because of your judgment (yes, voicing mere opinions have consequences, but understanding that will come with age) of others based upon those experiences. Is it possible that others experience chastity in a different way? You bet your sweet 23 year-old rear that they do. Perhaps you should be more selective when you choose to hold another's key?

    Every relationship is unique. I would not dare to presume I understand another couple's relationship - inside or outside of chastity. With my limited experience with chastity, one thing I have certainly learned is that there is no set standard with regards to how it is done. There's the "I just want to stop masturbating" camp all the way to the "I want to lick another man's spunk out of my wife" camp. There's the co-equal folks and the slave folks. There's those in committed relationships and those that hold three keys. Perhaps you should take a step back and reflect on if you are happy with your experiences thus far and if you wish to continue. I'll add another cliché "it takes two to tango."
