This is old information...since Pen Test came out with this info, Qiui came out with a security update to their software as well as a published method of manually opening the device. In addition, Pen Test themselves published a second method for opening the device. You do not have to break the device to open it in the event that someone manages to hack it. Yes, any device a person uses that relies on wireless technology can potentially be hacked, and some devices software are more or less secure than another's, but in a device like this, it is more an annoyance or pranking tactic, than something dreadful to fear, such as an attack on your computer that bricks it.
