    Hi everyone,

    I joined this site last week and my lockee and I posted some pictures of our adventures together. Besides some really kind comments, a couple of people (all male) felt the need to say something negative about his body. Either in a comment or in a private chat to me.

    It makes me kind of sad and angry. I suppose we are all here to have a good time, to learn, to share, to be with likeminded people. Is this bad luck? Or is this a common thing going on here?

    Let's be kind and respectfull to everyone, especially when they share a vulnerable part of their life...

    That is too bad it happened. I do not know how common it is in private messages but is not the norm in public forums.

    There is no place for body shaming here in my opinion. Heck, given the varied and sometimes extreme interests many of the members here have, I’d say we all live in the proverbial “glasses houses” (glass mansion?) and we none should be casting stones.

    I’d suggest sticking with the site for now as I think you’ll find far more helpful members than hurtful.

    Personally I don’t get involved in private chat but I’m not aware that there is normally any body or kink shaming on the public forum. I’d drop @L-u-c-y a message if you thought something wasn’t right. :+1:

    Hi, sorry to hear that. To date I’ve never received anything but positive comments and messages to date. Hopefully they weren’t anything too hateful.

    Certainly from what I’ve seen neither of you have anything for there to be negative about.

    Unfortunately some people say things before putting their brain into gear, but it was uncalled for at any time.

    It was reported yesterday morning by both of you and just over an hour later the post was removed - hopefully a satisfactory and reasonably rapid outcome? The poster was also advised of the inappropriateness of his comment.

    We have no control over chat messages but a report on the member can be made with a copy of what was said. Or just block them.

    I'm sorry you had that experience, I saw absolutely nothing wrong with the pictures you have shared.

    Body shaming is never acceptable. Unfortunately, some people's idea of a good time involves ruining someone else day. Fortunately, this site is run from the top down by people who don't seem to tolerate that.

    Please try not to let it ruin your stay at the Mansion.

    That’s completely inappropriate, some people just can’t help keep there comments to themselves. If you don’t have something good to say, don’t say it.
    I have only received positive vibes from people here I’m very sorry you had a few outliers, I have truly not seen that be the norm. There probably just jealous you guys have everything worked out and are enjoying the lifestyle don’t let it get to you!! Cheers!

    The respons to our report yesterday was very quick and satisfying. Unfortunately today it happened again in a private chat (another member). Thank you for explaining how to report these private messages aswell. Although I hope I will never feel the need to do that.

    Yes, the moderators reacted quickly and adequately. I support the positive vibe and it is okay for everyone to have their own kinks or lifestyle. But that does not mean that anyone else experiences these kinks in the same way. Just be nice and friendly and open minded with a positive mindset. Feel free to ask...

    I’m sure as males we know how other males can be. They get jealous when someone has something they want. Which is that you have a dedicated key holder that is engaged and cares! That to me shows they just are mad they don’t have what you have! My wife does not currently wish to hold my keys but that doesn’t mean I take it out on others out of jealousy that’s simply childish.     @KeyholderD, I'm really sorry you had an experience like that. I had a similar comment (in a private chat) about my husband's body. Some people just can't keep things to themselves. You have to pity them, really - they must be so insecure in their own skin that they feel the need to put others down (probably to make themselves feel good). Glad to hear you got a quick and positive response from the site's moderators.
