Waist Straps to Support Cages. My Solution

I'm permanently locked in a metal cage and as many people have commented elsewhere the weight of a metal cage can force it forward and down.

Like many to overcome this I used the widely available elastic straps, but I find they don't last very long or the poppers rip out.

So then I used paracord which worked, but being cord used to rub a bit.

I was looking for a solution when I came across a strap I discarded in a drawer from a very cheap (about £4.00) compact camera case I bought to keep my meds in that I have to carry for emergencies.

It's about 1 inch wide, is adjustable and has two clips on either end which swivel.

Instead of clipping around the ring like the elastic straps, I clip it over the two guide pins either side of the locking pin and use the adjuster to pull it up comfortably. I like my cage tight to my body and like this I have a good 6 inches of adjustment so I can loosen it when I sit for a pee.

It's a cordura type material so I think it will last a while.
