I like the idea, but would be more appealing if it weren't so bulky. One of the best things about "ringless" designs is how discreet they are. Would be nice to see some revisions that make it more compact (maybe moving the lock & prong to the underside?)
It can be worn overnight. My "test-slave" wears it since last Saturday and he says it sleeps well - much better then with a regular cock cage. Youi can see the spikes below! This is the first version - only a few was made. I'll make it lighter, more compact next time.
Does your test subject have erectile disfunction? He normally would have many nocturnal erections during the night's sleep. If the spikes are painful I expect this would wake him. Perhaps he had a hidden way out. Is the knot at the end of the bar removable? Has he ever had possession of a key? Adding a security tag may be in order. I would rather see a shield across the bottom and a cage (for easy cleaning) over the top. If you were artistic it could be fashioned to appear as a hand with the palm on the bottom with fingers and thumb over the top. Maybe easier if the hand appeared robotic, maybe like the defleshed Terminator hand. I am not sure if the wrist should appear coming from or awat the body. Each has it's own implications.
It is rather uncomfortable then painful as the spikes are not really sharp. He has mild erections only at night while the device is on as "his body learned" to give up all attempts to get hard early. Usually it goes back to normal within a few days after the ring is removed. It is not possible to remove the device without key. There would be two ways: rip it off or bend his cock 90-120 degrees which means breaking it actually. None of these would be a good idea so he has to wait for the keyholder...
