Steelworxx Modification (DIY Lori's ring)

    So with the indefinite shutdown of Lori's, those of us without a device having the world famous "retaining ring" are left wondering if we ever will again. I'm not sure, but I might have a solution.

    Imagine a stainless O-ring in just the right size to fit right behind the neck of your glans (mine is 21mm). Hanging off it is a very small o-ring or locking clasp. Then to put it on, you loop the PA/Frenum fixing through the small loop, and insert everything into the cage. The o ring will hold your head in place, and it will clamp down from its pivot point if you try to pull out.

    Am I missing anything?

    Very interesting! I have played around a little bit with the concept, but did not have much luck. I think your basic concept will will work. If I can figure out an easy way to get ahold of a custom PA fixture, I will definitely try to implement your design.

    I’d much prefer a mechanism that hooks the bottom of the ring. The Lori design can be very difficult to seat and lock and can pinch which is NOT nice! Would also be nice if ring was contoured to fit the glans better.
