I have a Mature Metal Jailbird that doesn’t fit quite right and causes soreness in my balls. My question is, should I expect soreness any time you hang 8 ounces of metal off your scrotum or is this a fit issue that needs to be addressed by the manufacturer? I already know that some burning can be caused by a gap that’s too small and I’m looking at having that adjusted but the burning has gone away over the week, while the soreness hasn’t. Thanks for any advice.

No skin wear that I can see, no redness. Just sore balls.

I reexamined with a flashlight and saw some minor skin irritation that might be the culprit. I’ll let that heal and then try again with more lubrication in that spot.

Good idea. Very important to catch any issues early. It may take time to adjust to wearing longer. But be smart about it. You can still be chaste, if that is your goal, without being caged constantly. Good luck and enjoy.

Try some antibiotic cream to spead up healing and you may want to try a dab of Petroleum jelly around the base ring scrotum contact areas after it heals.

The aptly named Bag Balm seems to be the solution to the scrotum irritation I had been fighting. I've only been using it for about 10 days, but so far it has kept the skin happy. It was originally developed for cow's udders, but it works well on other types of bags too.

I tried several other types of ointment, but nothing stopped the burning for more than an hour or two. Now I apply Bag Balm after I shower in the morning and before going to bed at night.
