Lori I was keen to try a ringless device and bought a Lori 8A. It was “in stock” so the design is a bit older (and in my opinion nicer) than some of the newer ones but it was only worn by me for a few days. Details as follows: Lori Item: 374 Quantity: 1 Description: 8A, P/A, 4 ga, 1-1/8" I.D., 3.5" overall length Bought for $575 (inc postage) We later paid an extra $50 to have one of the 2 keys made into a heart necklace. This is for the device with PA pin, 4 security screws, one heart key necklace and one other key (looks like a small screwdriver - my wife is away with it so I don’t have a photo!) It was only worn on and off for a few days and I have done my best to clean it (although I don’t have a steriliser or autoclave). PA5000 I also tried a PA5000 and found it didn’t really suit me either. I got the 1 inch diameter version and again, wore it one and off for a few days and have tried to clean it as well as I can. So, I'm interested in the 5A, but am concerned about the sizing, especially the length. Can you give me the measurement from the front to the PA hook and from the hook to the back? Also, in understanding the fit, is this meant to stretch you out a bit, from length or weight?
Hi, It's 1 inch from the very tip to the base of the PA hook. It's fine if you don't fill it. It's 2.5" from the base of the PA hook to the base (this is important). I don't know about your last question. I stretched myself up to 4ga and wearing this didn't stretch me any more.
Hi Do you want to clarify your prices seem to be a digit missing I think. You seem worried about how old the Lori device is however I could see there being a trade in historic devices . Xx Wendy
