First on was the short model with headlock - worked but I was having some edema issues

I waited awhile and trying the standard size with 44mm ergonomic ring -
Everything so far fits like a glove
    Posting a pic also

    Hello all
    Just another follow up picture
The cage is filling very nice
Lightweight - the texture did quick light sand and no issues
Since the cage is longer no smell - I do show dailly
Might have to buy the plastic lock blank and
Work a all plastic security -
I seen a plug the goes through and you crazy glue a cap on the other side
So you only destroy the lock not the cage
Wonder if anyone has other ideas - going metal free would be awesome

Permalocker would be another solution to go metal-free. You can remove it without destroying the cage if you have power tools :)

This thread has convinced me to try a Cherry Keeper. I’ve loved the way they look since I first saw one. So, I ordered one yesterday. I like steel cages, but thought the Cherry Keeper might be better for running and other exercise. @JosieLynn Jewell I may reach out with questions if any occur once I receive the cage and have a chance to try it out.

You would have to use a drill or other tools to remove the permilock

@JKisChaste As a long term wearer of a CherryKeeper with headlock all I say to you is: "Why did you wait so long?) (hehe) Have enjoyed wearing this creation all day, every day with virtually all the time not even knowing it is there - until I spy a pretty girl that is..... Pics in my album.

@zebra Let us know how the permanent plug works out for ya!!!

    ((Thank you @JosieLynn Jewell ))

I saw this style idea of a plastic lock -
Lock blank replace the metal lock and the a cap goes on the opposite end glued

Do you have the link or the 3d files for printing?

@zebra Looks like it may work but you probably will have a sloppy connection between base ring and cage as it looks like it wouldn't negate those two pieces from moving slightly. Also, you'd have the 'glued' end cap sticking out which would ruin the anesthetics of the device.
However, using JosieLynn's plug instead, where the whole plug is inside the locking area, and accounts for filling up the space therein, would eliminate both those situations.
Of course, just one bloke's opinio. Heck, if those are pretty cheap then give it a go and let us know how you make "out" (lol). And, what glue you used (SuperGlue or Elmer's White....hahaha)
    Enjoy!!

While I do like JosieLynn's plug having the keyway on the side to help fit, if you have the 3d print files, you can adjust the diameter of the shaft to fit the hole as snug as needed.

I just seeing any other idea around
The plastic seals locks they break over time I used before
In my cherry keeper with a magic lock past through sports game metal detector
I guess I will only unlock for doc appt and plane trips- I am ok with that

These are a bit more durable and a lot cheaper than the usual plastic seals you get with the devices.

One of those through the cylinder insert I linked to. Pull it snug and you should be good to go for several weeks. At least long enough until you need to do a cleaning removal.
