This sounds a bit scary to me. Your KH might consider much other "features" to remind you to this. Does your KH wants to damage you? Once you will be able to wear your cage during long periods of time, there are many other features to increase that awareness.

In particular correct size of base ring is just fundamental for long time cage wearing. Once you are able to wear the cage for long time, this will make you more aware of being submissive than anything else. So therefore, start with sizing the base ring correctly as well the gap size and proceed training for long time use. Please note that already a few millimeters change can be a world of difference. Same for the gap size between the base ring and the cage.

By the way: medical grade honey, which is available as salve / balm at your pharmacy, is perfect to speed up healing.

I'm glad that you could negotiate a compromise. However, just like other posters above I was a bit worried about your Owner's approach.

I'm my Wife's slave and she'd expect me to report any health problems because after all I'm hers and she doesn't want to harm her toy.

Perhaps consider a full belt. We've also been having trouble finding a good ball trap device (squeezing, bruising, and chafing issues persist). Another alternative we are considering is the addition of a tattoo above my genitalia marking me and the latter as her property.

Lastly, chastity is all about commitment. So while a device is fun, the bottom line is that a slave remains obedient and thus chaste regardless of a device being used.
