I've tried a few devices, thought I'd share some thoughts. Physically, I'm tall, slim, cut, 2" soft and 4.5" hard, 4.5" around. No body hair.

    First one:

    CB6000S knockoff.

+ Useful to test with because it came with rings in various sizes
    + Light
    - Square rings are very uncomfortable
    - Getting it together usually involves pinching
    - The bulge of the device is obvious
    - The lock knocks audibly against the plastic
    - The plastic begins to look dirty quickly
    - Too much space to squeeze out
    - The shape doesn't fit my head at all and the cage is too long by at least a half-inch

It's a toy that's fun for kink session, not for actual long-term wear.

    Next one:

    + Easy to get on
+ Can bend the rings together to make it shorter and more secure
    + Light
    + Good fit
    - Square-edged ring design hurts
    - Rubber that covered the hinge in the ring hurts
    - Head can squeeze out of the front hole if I'm hard
    - Too easy to cum by rubbing skin poking out the sides
    - Lock is cheap and rusts

Better, and much better fit, but ring design still defeats it for long-term use.

    Next one:

    + Much more comfortable ring
+ Sensory deprivation of the cap in front
    + Strong and substantial
    + Relatively low-profile
    - Cheap lock, also rusts
    - Hard to get on
    - Quite heavy
    - Internal width was too much
    - Ring size was just a bit too big; had to pad with Instamorph
    - Front cap is huge, much too big and had some sharp edges
    - Too much space between cage and ring
    - Not very secure for me when wet

This one is better for long-term comfort, but the weight and excess size spoiled it for me.

I haven't had this for long, but I already like it.

+ Solid contoured ring is comfortable enough to ignore
    + Size is just right
+ No lateral movement or knocking thanks to the two poles
    + Light
+ Much simpler lock, just as effective but no weight or noise
    + No shaft stimulation
    + Small bulge
    - Hard to get on; par for the course with a solid ring
    - Still a relatively open head section

If the finish holds up, I think it'll be a winner.

The cage I wear has the same base ring as the last one on your list, with a different, more open cage. Having bought custom devices from three makers, I find this cheap cage the most comfortable I’ve worn. The curved, ergonomic shape and the wide base that spreads the load over more skin area I think are the reasons. There’s loads of different design cages that use this same base ring. It’s a winner in my book.
