As you know, That's the difference between playing and this becoming "real" and a lifestyle. So many newbies and even folks who have been at this awhile don't realize how things change when "it gets real". They think where they're at is "the real deal" and such. And in ways it is for them. But things start intensifying and change.

Now I'm not putting anyone down for where they're at. I'm just saying that until people get to where you are they're not in the same mind place and not in a place that's same.

That said, I HIGHLY SUGGEST people take their time. Enjoy the ride and don't rush as once you move from a stage to another it gets harder and harder. And going back to "normal" also gets harder until it's no longer something yiu do but rather part of you.

Would you mind sharing your Amazon link? I haven't been able to find it on there.

Thank you! It's good to have another option for purchase. Unfortunately, I don't think it is going to work for me. I need mine to be 6mm in diameter to fit my cage and the smallest they have is 8mm. Also, they only give one retainer sizing option and it looks like that is because they want you to size based on the spout diameter, not the retainer diameter. I also like that Tether Products sells spouts of differing lengths in a set. I am hoping Tether Products gets some stock in soon. I have messaged them asking when they expect some.

Yes - to be honest - I just bought it to try it out (as it was only $15) but have been pretty impressed how it works - I guess I lucked out a little on the sizing - it’s a good point on the retainer size and the impact that has

I am coming up on 10 years since my PA in just over one month from now. It is an easy piercing to have done, healed, and then stretched up to a larger gauge.

I recommend stretching to 4 gauge, and ended up at 2 gauge (larger).

Why don't you try a TetherSpout instead of piercing?

I didn't know anything like a TetherSpout even existed when I first started this thread. I discovered it shortly after posting and now I plan to get that instead of a piercing. My sizing sound is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Getting the spouts is going to be the challenge. The owner of TetherSpout is telling me he likely won't get any more stock for at least six months. That means I either wait or buy an overpriced knockoff. I am probably going to have to do that latter.

I would suggest you get in touch with @zorglub. He makes quality spout and retainers out of implant grade titanium. He also can make a smaller retainer than the owner of Tetherproducts. I have ordered mine from @zorglub.
