Since each of us is just a little different anatomically, I suspect that One Size fits All just isn't working well in this case, I would experiment with getting things adjusted better down there after applying the ball ring and before installing the hood. I'd bet that you've tried this, but it might be worth re-examining just how it is put on. You might try a little padding (maybe a wet wipe or moleskin) between the ball ring and your skin. I'm not talking from wearing experience, just from a medical perspective.
