Well now you see the flip side of being under lock and key. I think she's doing the right thing, as you definitely erred. Never challenge your wife. She is now the one in charge, just as you wished. If caught in that situation or similar again, just fall back on 'I didn't hear, or can't remember'. Then add that she usually ordered the large or whatever answer she wants. The waiter is working and will likely still earn a tip. I guess you're just lucky she hasn't decided to employ discipline to help train you. I could see a dozen swats for such disobedience.
