Hello all. I just recently bought a new cage with a urethral plug. I’ve never seen one let alone use one. And advice for a first time urethral player?

Keep it super clean. Use lubrication (assuming it's sanitary). And watch for (don't be freaked out by) irritation. Many would recommend to avoid swimming, etc. Depending on the fit, you may have to hold your pressure and pee slowly to insure it goes through the tube. In our case we have had to go multiple times to build up some tolerance near the tip, which frequently will bleed a bit after 2 or 3 days (but quickly heals when caught early).

You will get a lot of negative, and a bit of positive, advice here re: Urethral plugs IMHO. A lot of Doctoring by non Doctors on either side. In the end you will have to make up your own mind, but I reiterate: keep it clean (that should be obvious).

    Good luck and enjoy!

Much has been written here over the years.

Try the search facility for threads with Urethral in the title. 5 pages of results.

Clean is the key and going in wet after urinating. Apart from the initial introduction for a few minutes at a time, avoid lube IMHO.

I feel lube is a must if you want to use a plug, I wouldn’t, and make sure it is a medical lube like ky jelly. Not a sex lube. You want it to be water based.

I’m no expert on this, for lube I believe Surgilube would be good for this scenario.
