Bought a cheap plastic kit from a online sexshop to try with my fiance. Figured that both the rings and the cage was not the best quality. So what did one do? Brought out a saw, chisel, glue and sandpapers. The ring got buffed up with 1200 grit wet paper and it made a huge difference. Also the joint where the ring and cage meet had to get some attention from the chisel. Had to force it like crazy before some chisel action. The cage was to long so it hurt when i grew in it. Sawed out a portion in the middle and glued the cage back together. Since the kit is made from ABS plastic, cyanoacrylate based glue works good on ABS plastics. Then i had to fix the gap on it. Would have been easier with a sanding cylinder to a Dremel tool. Anyhow tried it on now after sanding with the 1200 grit to give it a super smooth finish. Why bother with all this you may ask, mostly to see if it is something for us and testing out what sizes to get if we decide to buy a quality cage.
