Also, herbals are not a great alternative. There are thousands of organic chemicals in an herb and you risk toxic levels of the unwanted/unneeded compounds when you take enough to get the desired levels of the desired compound.

There are three major endogenous estrogens that have estrogenic hormonal activity: estrone (E1), estradiol (E2), and estriol (E3). Estradiol, an estrane, is the most potent and prevalent. Another estrogen called estetrol (E4) is produced only during pregnancy.

Herbs can interfere and with the receptors on the calls which blocks out your natural and more potent E2 which can be counter productive. Taking estrodiol by mouth forces it to go through the liver before the rest of the body and much of it is broken down and has a higher conversion rate to esterone which doesn’t do much for you. Dissolving under the tongue, creme, weekly injections, rectal or patches is the best way but the main ingredient should be estrodiol.

Have you checked medically the reason for not having erection? It often reveals some potentially serious cardiovascular problems. Please, don’t treat it as inevitable.

 

The first sentence is the crux of the problem for physicians: HRT does, in fact, increase the risk of some kinds of cancer. Because of that fact, physicians can and will be held liable for the development of (many different kinds of) cancer in someone for whom they prescribe HRT. It happens every day in the US. Until the medical liability system is improved, physicians will continue to feel their hands are tied.

 

it amy go without saying that menopause is natural and expected, and at least in my experience it can effect a Lady's libido. in many ways being a chastized sissymaid helped alot since my desires came second anyway. it seemed so natural for me at the time!
