    My Goddess and I are interested in the responses to this thread. We are in the process of inventing our Locktober Challenge, and in doing so, would love to hear some of your ideas and things you are doing with it. We always have meetings at the beginning of events like this, and are having ours on October 1.

    So, firstly, there are people who think Locktober is a no release for the entire month, and we get that, but we have a very playful side. I call it a challenge, because I think it should be a couples thing that is hard on both ends to maintain.

    We think it's more of a time to celebrate it, have fun with it, and throw in a few games, little stuff like that. We hope that it builds in excitement and activities to celebrate the wonderful joys of Enforced Chastity Play!

    What sorts of fun twists are involved in some of yours?

    It would be really great if the Ladies of the Mansion would lend voice if they can, or feel that they want to. It's certainly open to you as well, and You will be respected.

    For U/us Locktober has really driven the chastity experience for my wonderful Goddess who started out the journey blissfully unaware of what male chastity, moreso, enforced male chastity was.

    In it, I too have discovered what it is, and that it was more than just an addition to a photo that turned me on. Locktober has helped make it a fun, weird little time, while making it less awkward for both is U/us. I would tell you that there has been some very highs, and the occasionally very lows. But in it, we have come together to a very good spot with my chastizement and in general, my position. (It's worked great)

    But I brought this up to Her, that this year (very happily, btw) I am in 24/7/365 chastity, but do come out at Her say so. We do have a very sexual relationship and use my chastity to cultivate it.

    O/ours just isn't a thing where we lock me up, never let me out, no release, no chance, no argument, and I just really don't want it to be. I don't think any red blooded mammal should ever want to just give up on their sexuality.

    But the problem, well, how do you chastize someone in chastity further?

    Yes, denial is one way.

    But what about tease? Let's talk about the tease part of the equation. Let's talk about how to play with it.

    Other than just locking it on and forgetting about it, what kind of stuff do you like to do within that?

    This will be my first Locktober and my first Chastiversary on 8th Locktober. I was thinking of starting a support thread myself Monnica, but you beat me to it.

    I'm particularly interested in talking about vanilla ideas to get through the month.     At present I am self locked with the consent of my partner,. She is aware that I am caged and is not reluctant to the idea. My problem is communicating the idea that I would like her to decide when and if it comes off. More or less the denial aspect of chastity. Right now we have an agreed release date which I appreciate she is willing to do. I think the idea and challenge of Lockober might be a good way to incorporate this. But I'm unsure of what would be a good resource to introduce someone to Lockober with a more vanilla senseability?

    Perhaps it is better to take small steps than to take the second before the first.
    The fact that she accepts your need to be locked is already a good step forward!
    Next you both can work on the fixed release date and include the idea that SHE can decide at any time if and when. Presumably, the lockup times will increase all by themselves ;)
    And when it's all nice and playful, then would I start with challenges like Locktober or NOvember.

    PS: I also find it bonkers that chastity themes are often brought across with such a hard BDSM topic that scares vanillas rather than inspires them.

    Obviously, by design, I didn't want this to be a "How to explain to your partner" theme, so, I'm just going to say this:

    It's ok to tell her that it is important to you and you'd like her to play along with the fun. It doesn't get any more cut and dried than that. Explain what it is, how it works, why it's fun, and hope for the best. Good luck.

    There aren't many resources like that because that type of fun, comes from our imagination.

    Locktober worked wonders for us. Hopefully you can play off of it and introduce some heavier ideas.

    We tried to participate in Locktober and No-vember last year, but I was still recovering from surgery. Only managed to make a week.
