So my Wife and i have a basic adult novelty store flogger that we use for whipping. Recently I recommended we try a wooden spoon and then top off with the flogger and it was a nice sting at the time but what we're really after is something truly punishing. I want to really feel the sting on my ass, thighs, and balls and i want it to linger for some time. My Wife wants me to feel it when i sit and think of Her for days afterward. I just don't think we can get that out of the whip that we are using. It will leave some shallow welts but they go away very quickly and the pain definitely doesn't last. So I was wondering what you all used for whippings. I really want something that's going to make me beg for mercy and cause me to sit funny for a while afterwards. I see a lot of nice floggers/cat o nine tails on various shops online but I really don't know what I'm looking at as far as the whips potential to cause pain and leave marks. So please if you have any recommendations let me know. Thanks! P.S. We aren't really looking for a cane (not yet at least). Floggers and whips and cats are much more "involved" than canes. They require a little more from the user and they make an incredible sound which altogether makes the experience very visceral. My Wife may want to try a cane in the near future I'm sure but right now we really want a nice flogger.

i agree about the riding crop charles! also have a look at a tawse! they really sound good and boy do they hurt.
It all depends on what kind of marks you want. Tawses and straps tend to be bruise-y rather than welt-y. For welt's you'll need a cane or a thing singletail whip, or perhaps a crop without a flat tip.
@masters-sissy If you require pain and welts, then I can't understand your reluctance regarding canes. With a good quality Dragon cane both the requirements will be fulfilled.
Thats probably what we're going to end up getting. After what I've read on here and other sites and speaking with my wife. I just really wish we had a store that focused on this type of lifestyle in my area. Instead of just traditional adult novelty stores. I'd like for my Wife to hold then and feel them before purchasing one.
i notice you come from USA and i am sure that i saw a documentary on tv over here in GB that Lovehoney were opening a shop over there? if that is correct i expect just like over here they are great in that you can buy an item and then return it if not pleased with it for any reason up until a year after purchase. If they do the same thing there you can use it and get a feel for it then send it back or exchange it if you dont get on with it. Lovehoney Rules.

For marks and pain the roller we have with spikes can't be beat. You can buy them in a hard ware store for removing wallpaper although we do have a flogger with spikes as well. . I am sure @slave stroppy can remember the pain and marks. .. Regards Slave Phil Lucy
i found a rubber flogger stings a lot but nothing beats [pun inteaded] a cane for marks and lasting memory. We bought them at cane-iac. com, they have anything you can imagine.
have a look at equestrian clothing and equipment stores on line. some of the whips for children are vey good and a lot less money than a kink shop hope this helps
We actually did go by a local equestrian shop and found a thin riding crop. It is extremely difficult to bear but i love it. I wasnt bound when we tried it out but i cant wait to be next time.
