Internal locks

The problem I have is when I take it off to clean or shave, it takes forever to get the internal lock set just right. That last 1/16 of an inch won’t go in and can’t get locked unless I work at it forever. Anybody else have this problem?

    ive had that a few times, normally I find its a angle thing.
    maybe the left side of the cage is not quite pushed in as tight as the right for example.
    also try making sure its all the way in. ive also occasionally found that the cage is tipped upa bit compared to the ring, pull the tip down a degree or so.

    Well that works for me

    Maybe look for one of the good German locks. I can’t remember the name but they are about $25 and WAY better.

    Get yourself a punch set. One of the sizes 1/4"? Is the exact size of the lock. Work the punch in vigorously and your lick will work much smoother.
