I recently ordered and received a Chinese cage with two base rings. I find the 50mm ring to fit well, though the cage is a bit uncomfortably small, and I can slip out.

Can the various Chinese devices be interchanged (use the cage of one supplier and the base ring of another). The locks and the two 'prongs' all SEEM to be in the same place.

And would a metal cock ring behind the base ring be helpful in preventing pull out?

    TIA

Some are some aren’t I have 3 Chinese cages 2 of them can be used with the same 45mm ring 1 of them can’t as the holes do not line up with that 1 cage so I have to use that 1 with it’s own ring. I use the same lock for all three. With the others as spare in case of damage to lock or key.

I've found that generally if you stay within the same supplier and cage design, you can switch rings and cages. But for most cages, there is just enough difference to keep them from working with different rings. Even if pegs line up, the slot for the built in locks don't allow proper alignment. But you may get lucky.
