    When I first found the fabulous world of male chastity, most of the sites I found had people who were lifestyle proponents. They were interested in being locked as they felt it could enhance their relationship or improve their lifestyle – mainly through cutting down on masturbation.

    The plus side of this reduction in masturbation was the improved attention towards partners or Mistresses. With less time being spent on the pointless action of wanking off to porn their attention was focused more on the important things in life.

    There is also the added bonus of reducing the constant barrage of female objectification seen in porn. This means that they are no longer seeing women as objects but as partners, lovers and dominants.

    I was so excited to find this world where I was treated as something more than a means to fulfilling some sexual fantasy. This was definitely where I needed to be which has been proven over and over again as I delve deeper into the scene.

    Things are changing as they always do. More guys are finding this fetish and with them they bring their imagination and fantasies. With so much information coming from the web for people who are interested in male chastity there is a very real danger that the information they see is someone’s fantasy.

    It’s great to talk about 6 week initial lock ups and permanent chastity but 24/7 locking can take months to achieve and even then there still needs to be safety unlocks.

    So, if you are new to this world, take care. Speak to people who have been practicing for a long time and admit that things go wrong. Otherwise you may lose more than your fantasies, you may permanently damage your dick.

    Well said @Mistress Jules, I do think it's important to emphasise the 'journey' of male chastity sometimes rather than dwell endlessly on the devices themselves. Learning devotion and respect for the Woman/Mistress in our lives seems to me to be of far greater significance than product reports on various penis-shaped contraptions, as useful as that information undoubtedly is. Some of us in chastity don't wear a device. I've never worn one and chastity is very important to me, it's probably the most profound experience of my life. It's taught me so much, not only self-awareness, but also to have consideration for the needs of others, to be respectful to women in general and to understand the spiritual growth two people can experience when the male is obedient to his Goddess.

    Long term chastity certainly deserves to be treated as more than a fantasy, the real life benefits of a male retaining his energy at the discretion and direction of a powerful woman (whether locked or unlocked) are life-affirmingly immense.

    I am happy to say that I am a newer member of this lifestyle, and that is what it is for me and my Wife. A lifestyle. It has made a massive difference to our relationship and I wouldn't want to stop now, even if my Wife would let me. I looked at some porn recently and it did absolutely nothing for me. I actually felt sorry for all of the participants. Before chastity I would want to orgasm several times a week, now I am lucky to do several in a year, but they mean so much more now when I do.     Thats for sure, this past week I have been as horny or hornier then when I was a teen, but its all geared towards my wife, as a teen any girl made me horny today its just my wife I see her and I melt. when I chose chastity I didn't realize how it would effect my emotions towards my wife so drastically but its like when we first met and I have a new found love for her.

    One of the very real changes in recent years has been the considerable increase in the range of devices available, and much improved efficacy. When Hal Higginbottom started up Tollyboy in 1954 he had virtually a monopoly, and M belts then were a sideline.

    Not any more. Now what with MM, Lori, Neosteel, and the like it's becoming more and more popular. 24/7 is not at all unusual now.
