Why is it so hard to find a comfortable device? Iam using v4 holy trainer 55 ring but with a v3 tube knock off! This v3 gives me a better gap between the tube and ring. The v4 tubes gives me a lesser gap. I need comfort when I sit at my desk, if that gap is to small I get pain. I do like the v4 ring shape. will we always have discomfort with nighttime erections? The whole device gets pushed away from the body! Very frustrating The perfect device - adjustable gap and ring with an internal lock!
Your dick gets bigger when you're horny. It's this weird thing that metal or plastic can't mimic very well. You'll just have to get used to it. You might try taking some measurements and getting a custom device. Third, there's a-whole-nother forum for this you might take a gander at.
It seems all the internal lock devices have gap issues? I had no idea that the easiest part of chastity is not releasing! It’s a big turn off to deal with nighttime erections, testicle pain, skin irritation!
I'm sure I am not alone when I say my journey began with a cheap-o device, then CB series, then HT and finally a custom. That being said, it took a long time and a lot of fideling to get my MM Jailbird to be a fit so well that I can sleep through the nite and be comfortable (ish lol). It all comes down to how much you want to get it dialed in.... I would recommend heading over to the device forums, which have areas for your brand as well as general issues wearing a device.
A cage is either comfortable if you wear it limp or reasonably comfortable if you get a hard one. Both together usually do not work. We have bought "our" cage so that it consciously causes discomfort and pain during an erection. I.e. the balls and the penis are strongly restricted and become bluish as a result and it hurts when the erection subsides and the blood flows in again. But this decision, what is best, everyone must make for themselves.
I grew tired of all the issues with ball trap cages and went with a PA and am in a Glans Armor 2. I've been comfortably locked up since early September with no issues. I get that piercings aren't for everyone, but it was the best decision we could have ever made.
This problem is easily solved - get a cage with a much shorter tube. If there's space between your glans and the end of the tube, then you can use a cage that is shorter. Ideally, the cage should be just shorter than your usual smallest flaccid length. When the cage is short, and your head touches the end, you don't have enough room to start an erection, so it doesn't happen; Or if it does, there's not enough space, so not enough blood pressure to cause any pain. When there's enough space for your penis to get partially erect, that's when the problem starts, your penis doesn't stop half way, it wants to go all the way! Another thing that can cause pain when getting aroused is seams, edges and other unsmooth surface features on the inside, so the application of some fine grit sandpaper might improve things. I remember my very first device, a Curve much larger than the device I wear now, had not sharp but just well defined edges on the ventilation holes in the plastic tube - that was the most painful device I've ever had. My current device is only a quarter of the length, and I never have morning wood problems now.
Oh device forums on this site? Yes they are ball traps more than penis it seems! The penis is very comfortable in any tube really!
I tried 3-4 cheap devices, the tiniest was about 1.5” and that hurt the worst for morning erections. I found a Chinese cage that was close to the MCN Adaptus and it was super comfortable. We finally bought the MCN which has a 2.25” cage, and it is perfect. If I’ve been unlocked for a while, when I start another lockup sentence, the first night or maybe two, I might wake up from an erection but a quick shift and I’m back to sleep. After that, they don’t wake me up even after a couple weeks in it. As someone else said, you’ll probably need to try a handful of devices to find one that works for your body. Just part of the journey
Custom is good when you get there. Also, try using something like Vaseline on the ring - that helps . You’ll get used to it and that’s when the real fun begins!
My problem is stretching behind the ring where it lays flush to my body. Blood pushes eveything out since it can’t extend the penis! My ring is slightly loose
I’m short when erect so the stretching of the balls with an erection isn’t enough to bother me. SPG problems.
You may want to try a smaller ring, if you have not already. I found it holds everything in place better and with less space erections subside quicker than if you have more room to grow.
I can't stress enough how much difference it makes for comfort if you use a little lubricant or skin cream of any type to reduce the friction between skin and device.
The best route i found was going custom. We went through many cages before finally getting my rigid model 1. but here is one that is flexible and internally locked. we considered this one but never tried it. it does look interesting though. https://www.ars-vivendi.de/Lancelot-Deluxe-Anatomisch_18
