    It depends on the device he wears. I prefer tight jock straps or tight briefs. A well shaped pouch helps with comfort.

    I mostly wear jocks or male thongs (Calvin Klein). Not panties.

    Also, I've found Calvin Klein briefs to work really well. Much better than boxers which can ride up just as he is describing.

    "Obviously Apparel" has my vote as well for comfort. But for extra support, I've used "Bodyaware" models with their "enhancing pouch" or "uplift" designs (e.g. "Italian Uplift Boxer" or "Uplift Brief").

    "Man-thongs" or jock-strap. Either will have a 'pouch' to hold his caged package. Many makers out there have rather 'manly' designs and even materials, but could have fun with this part over time. He can feel free to wear his normal underwear over either of these...

    Let me add another ++ for the David Archy boxer briefs. I like the sports style that includes a pouch but no fly. They're also really thin and light so in some ways its like wearing nothing at all.

    Ditch the boxers, and go with briefs. So much more comfy. Thongs and jocks work just as well if you like them, but all are better that boxers, they hold you in place and stop your device from being pulled from side to side, so also reduces irritation to.
