Firstly, your wife should be admonished for hiding the key in such a easy to find location. Secondly, wear a pad. You will find that you are happier without the stains. Finally, the arousal will eventually diminish to a tolerable level, but never quite go away completely. Relish this feeling because you will miss it when you are unlocked.

Thanks folks for your support and posts. My wife is asking how log she should keep me locked. This is difficult because I don't want to lead her by suggesting a time. I have said it is entirely up to her and that it could be 1 week, 2 or maybe 1 or 2 months. Christmas is around the corner and my birthday is in March...... I don't think you'll find that there is an average period here for "lockovers". The spectrum includes those who pop their belt on for an evenings play to those who are permanently locked up. If your partner is willing to indulge you but struggling to understand the concept then you could do worse than invite her to become a member here. She would be very welcome and very likely to find support and advice from other female keyholders.
There is no defined time for "normally locked". It depends on you both. What works for others, might not work for you both or you. This reminds me a boy who was locked up from age 16 , and is still locked up even after age 18 and now he's above 18 with few years. He wants to never use his cock.
