That would be so great! I used to live in the Florida Keys, I can totally imagine this as a resort in Key West. I’ve watched the industry of chastity cages grow in the last decade. I truly think I’m underestimating the mainstream popularity of these things these days. More so in the interest of sales, which I feel largely sit tucked away in a kink drawer. To bring it to a mainstream resort would be to redefine what chastity is as a phycology and maybe style…I see an opportunity, we should chat!

I'm not so sure about all that. The start-up investment would be astronomical not to mention the cost of beach front real-estate in Key West. Trying to lure investors would be a monumental challenge trying to convince them they there is a market for the niche. But it is a nice dream.

Still being silly and located in the Keys. How about "The Key Holdings Resort". A little play on the location and keyholding. I know....sad....lol

Have you been to Key West? Loads of money and perverts, finding investors would be the least of it. No to mention the business of chastity already exists. I’m sure the owner of cb-x is doing pretty good at 150$ a cage, potential investor?? Lol…I kid, kinda…lol…love the name play on the keys…how about… The Lock Of The Keys :p

LOL....now we are getting carried away with our imaginations. All good.

Yes, been to Fantasy Fest and always stayed a few days after festivities. Been attending since 2008 except for the las couple of years due to Covid. Hope to make it this year, but there are other factors in our life now. You're correct, there all types of folks and kinks on the island. Always a good time.

You'd be surprised at the cost of running a business once you get past it being home based.

I don't say this to be rude or mean to you. But once you understand all of the costs you'll realize that raising capital and cash flow are two of the biggest headaches of a business owner. Sales and marketing being another set of issues that keep owners from sleeping.

As said, getting investors for something beyond a home based business is a big deal. That said, feasibility studies, market analysis and business plans and models are all things that need to be done. And the better it's done the better chance someone has to get investors.

I've personally be a part of two startups and gone through this. It's tough and not for most people. Most people fail as they go in with views like yours thinking they're going to make tons of money looking at raw dollars. They fail to understand cash flow and WHEN the dollars come in and go out.

I would hate to get into the early startup stages of something like this on a full time basis. But if someone was serious, I'd love to help them putting together a plan, doing the analysis and writing the business plan and creating the financial model. But then again, I'm a glutton for punishment and find this stuff "fun". Well that and it's a good use for that advanced business degree!

And yea I've got startups to get funding. The last one though closed down due to Covid right as we were getting ready for next round funding.
