Chaffing /sore spot on underside of shaft

    Hi everyone.

    Your wisdom and help would be greatly appreciated.
    I am currently locked in a MM jailbird with a double base ring 1 3/4” dia, cage dia 1 3/8”, length 2” with a 3/8” gap. With inverted bars.

    I have worn since Feb this year no issues, fits lovely, nice and snug. My previous device was a Steelworxx Steelheart worn for about a year previous, again no issues.

    Recently i have had some sort of sore? appear on the underside of the shaft which rubbed through skin. I removed for 2 weeks to let heal seemed ok put it back on saturday slept well in it checked about teatime on sunday and sore starting to appear again. I shower daily dry properly and let air dry and always moisturise afterwards.

    My mistress and i are slightly frustrated and irked at this as there were no issues before. Could this be a sizing issue? Or do i need a different type of cage. I am not pierced and have a foreskin.

    Any help/advice would be taken on board

    Do you use cream to lubricate the CB then it can move as you do?

    I use aveeno cream in morning and some at night. Generally i am ok and dont seem to suffer from ring burn. This is on the underside of the shaft. I adjust through the day if needed. It just seems to have happened. I can see my skin getting used to where the ring sits. Never had a problem with the shaft though

    Check for a minute flaw in the steel. I’ve had to do a fair amount of sanding to smooth my Jail Bird.

    Could it be were urine is getting trapped between you and the device? That could cause a sore or burn.
