I got my new BA-21p titanium at the beginning of the week, and while it’s still new - I thought a small initial review was in order.. here goes:- ordering process - 10/10 They are very easy to work with, I needed a modification because of my piercing. I included a diagram of what I needed, and they worked with me, suggesting some modifications of their own to make it work. The total order time to delivery was 6 weeks. They were very responsive to my messages, and pretty good English as well. Quality - 10/10 This device is well made, really light, nicely finished (in a light blue) and fits well - no rattles or rough edges. Under clothes - 9/10 its pretty inconspicuous under clothing - not sure if there is anything apart from a speedo that it would show under. Comfort - 11/10 I have had an access denied, cb2000, Vice, qiui and a couple of other devices - this one is WAY more comfortable. Part of this is because it fixes on a piercing, so the ring can be a little looser. But, in part it’s also the head which is designed to give a little room. I didn’t even wake up with a woody first thing in the morning. Custom is the way to go - I guess it makes sense, after all shoes are all sorts of different sizes - and you have to try them on to get the right fit. Security - 10/10 it’s fixed to my piercing - and it’s made of a titanium alloy - it’s not coming off without the key, or the ability to pick the lock itself. Cleaning - 9/10 It’s closed enough to stop access, but open enough to allow good cleaning. Where the cage meets the piercing stub is the hardest to get under - and that’s not really an issue. Overall - 10/10 Totally worth it - love it - hate it, because my wife and keyholder says it is staying on for the foreseeable future.
Thanks. it looks similar to a Chinese cheapie which is 3 times the length. Both segments of the cage are separate, despite it being one item. It would be great if cages like this one of medium to short length were commonly available for under $100.
I have a couple of those cages (cheap mass items) :- whilst they share a similar look - they are simply not of the same quality at all.
Did you get the BA-21p or the BA-28? Looking at the pictures in your profile I would have expected the 21p to have extra bars around the head.
Darn, you are right - it’s a BA-28p. had it two weeks now, it’s been on for all but a few hours, amazing device.
The ba-28p has now been on for five weeks - with a few hours out here and there. it’s super well made and comfortable, and secure.. highly recommend this, mine is titanium, and is really quite light.
