    hello,

My wife and I will be traveling in a few days, and I will likely have to go through security in Chastity for the first time.
I know this questions have been asked many time, but clear info is still not easy to find. Perhaps we could make this post a sticky one, in an appropriate section of the Forum?

So! I welcome everyone’s participation (as long as your info is100% accurate), to determine whether we're “cleared” or “busted” depending on our cage, and the security we're going through:

    PLASTIC CAGE / PLASTIC LOCK
    ADT Body imaging: CLEAR??
    Metal detector: CLEAR

    PLASTIC CAGE / REGULAR PADLOCK
    ADT Body imaging: ?????
    Metal detector: BUSTED??

    PLASTIC CAGE / MAGIC LOCKER
    ADT Body imaging: ?????
    Metal detector: ?????

    METAL CAGE
    ADT Body imaging: BUSTED?
    Metal detector: BUSTED

    FULL METAL BELT
    ADT Body imaging: BUSTED?
    Metal detector: BUSTED

CAN YOU GET "BODY SEARCH" INSTEAD AND HOW?
    Comments......

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU'RE BUSTED
    Comments....

    Thanks for helping.
I hope it will be useful

Thanks so much for the report.
Any other people have real experience, with padlocks? Metal cages?

When we have a bunch of info, it would be nice if it’s not too much work, if a Moderator could update the original post with everyone’s experiences

I fly every two / three weeks.
HTv2 with magic locker worked for me. That includes body search due to having jeans with some metal bits in it.
Any clothes with sufficient amount of metal will trigger the detector. Then you go for full body scan and get padded by the security.

I have passed with no problems.
The brass lock itself in htv2 will not get detected.

HTv2 and v3 no problem at all.
    Experienced at:
    Stansted
    Birmingham
    Moscow (2 airports)
    Venice
    Genova
    Zaventem
    Amsterdam (connecting flights)
Frankfurt (both destination and connecting flights)
    Others I cannot remember.....
When I write "destination" or just mention the airport without remark I mean both arrival and departure.
    Good luck!

I’ve been through the metal detectors through four different airports, six times so far, in my 316L stainless steel GlansArmor by MaleChastityNow. Oh and a number of times through a cruise ship metal detector.

    Each time no problem.

    Glans Armor through Metal Detector:
    CLEARED

It must have retained its non-magnetic and low-conductive material properties to not trip the magnetometers.

I have worn my Glans Armor while opting out of the body scanner imaging system and voluntarily electing a pat down. I’ve had pat downs many times. It’s very professional, and I treated the staff with respect.

(No one is fondling your shaft and balls, or taking you to the back room to giggle.)

    Glans Armor while Pat Down:
    CLEARED

(The only situation nowadays I’d avoid is an MRI. The technician caught a fragment of iron I had stuck in me from an old injury.)

Someday I’ll get brave enough to go through the imaging system in chastity. No test.

Anyone in a 316 stainless steel full cage through the metal detector? Or titanium?

Can add that I’ve now flown with my Steelworxx Steelheart with integrated lock since I’m sitting in the terminal having just gone through security. Went through body scanner.

Plan is to do same on way back on Friday as well.

Titanium Steelwerks tube passed through scanners two or three times over the years and several metal detectors including government buildings with no issues.

I’ve been through airport metal detectors several times with just the double base ring of my MM Jailbird. I think it’s beeped twice, both times I said it was body jewelry and they let me through, but on one of those occasions they had me go through the scanner.

Now I just take the whole thing off before security and put it back on afterwards. Leaving the base ring on vs taking it off for a few minutes doesn’t make that much difference.

Thumper recently posted about having a run in with the TSA while wearing his HTv3 Nub:
    https://denyingthumper.com/2019/03/28/busted-and-exposed/

That’s a pretty small device. Think that’s pretty definitive proof that there is no perfectly safe device to go through airport security in. You’re always taking a risk of having to show and explain.

I think he was wearing a nano instead of nub, but that's beside the point that it is indeed possible to get caught since those devices can be tuned with different sensitivities.

He went through the body scanner.

I’ve gone through metal detectors and also “opted out” for a pat down instead. Both wearing my stainless steel MaleChastityNow GlansArmor.

I’ve been called back for a private check back when I was only wearing piercing jewelry. Everyone was very professional and I was never asked to expose myself to the TSA.

I’ve had pat downs, not wearing chastity - just not wanting my body scanned - and they are not intrusive.

Hey just a thought: I know there's a schhol of thought that we should try to make our lifestyle more mainstream (which personally I'm not comfortable with) but maybe we could write to our local airports informing them of the phenomenon, so that they are aware. Thumper's post surprised me a lot because none of the TSA guys knew what the device was, so it might be a good precaution. I'd include a link to this site.

Peter Rabbit mentions treating the staff with respect, which is always a good policy. I believe that the staff are mostly professional and want to treat everyone (regardless of orientation etc.) with respect, so that we can all be safe. Letting them know will help ?

    From https://www.smartertravel.com/confiscation-confidential-weirdest-items-taken-tsa/

‘On its blog, the agency has gone out of its way to let passengers know that chastity belts are okay, although they do set off body scanner alarms (and you will likely receive a pat-down). “You can imagine where an undergarment such as this might be a problem at a security checkpoint,” Burns wrote. “Especially if there is no key.”’

Here’s the direct TSA Blog post from 2012

    https://www.tsa.gov/blog/2012/06/08/tsa-week-review-inert-detonator-discovered-checked-bag

    Body Scanner Discoveries This Week

...And while it isn’t prohibited, a passenger wearing a chastity belt alarmed the body scanner at one of our checkpoints. I’m sure you can imagine where an undergarment such as this might be a problem at a security checkpoint. Especially if there is no key.”

They are professional. I treat them with respect as well.

    I posted the prior message to show that they explicitly say two things about chastity devices on their blog;
    - They will set off the body scanner.
    - it is not prohibited.

You can check the list of prohibited items here:
    https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all

I just reread it. Body Armor, Casts, Duct Tape, Hand cuffs, Helmuts, Jewelry, Nuts, Prosthetics, Shock Collars, TENS Unit, Toys (Adult), are all allowed, for example.

    Maybe I need to rebrand my chastity as a jewelry-grade prosthetic crotch-helmet body-armor adult-toy. :)

Here’s more info about traveling with sex and bondage toys:

Funny story. I typically would unlock before going through TSA and then lock back up after and be on the honor system with access to a key while I'm traveling. I got a good fitting 3D printed cage and decided to wear that one trip with a plastic "lock." I have TSA Precheck which means I go through a metal detector. Of course the day I choose to do this I get randomly selected for a security check meaning they put me through the body scanner. They didn't say anything and I went through but I'm sure my pulse increased the second they told me to go through that scanner.

I use to remove a cage when I pass a security gates. It's only for 15 minutes and doesn't disturb my lifestyle.
Last flight to one of a European country, I saw the young lady with long eyelashes and asked her:
    Me:
    - What would happen, let's say If "my friend." pass the security gates with unremovable body jewelry made of steel?
    She:
    - What type of body jewelry?
I felt uncomfortable, and my cheeks blushed :)
I came closer towards her and whisper to an ear "Chastity cage."
She smiled at me and then replied to me:
    - Not a problem, we have to ensure that all passengers won't bring any dangerous material on board. We will check in a security room if it's a "body jewelry" as you said (smile).

When all my shines gone and I felt happy inside.

Next time when I will have a flight, I won't remove my cage and check the procedure. My cheeks could blush again. But that's the price of my lifestyle.

I never did post about my return trip wearing my Steelworxx Steelheart.

When I got to security it was obvious that they were using dogs and this only running people through the metal detector. There was no way I wasn’t going to set off the metal detector but didn’t really have a choice. It went off and the TSA agent started asking me if I had keys or a belt or something. I’m telling him no to all the suggestions he’s making. He says “well it has to be something.” I say that I have jewelry down there and point to my crotch. His response was that if it wasn’t going to come off here that I needed to go through the body scanner. I headed through the scanner. It triggered on my back (just like the trip there) so I got a pat down and swabs for residue. During the pat down this guy did do a front pat down along my legs but didn’t get anywhere near my crotch. I was cleared and off I went.

My wife saw the post by Thumper and I asked if I would continue to wear while flying. She laughed and said that wasn’t even a question. She pointed out that I would probably be embarrassed but I’d still fly given Thumper’s experience. So looks like she’s decided that I will always fly locked now.

Thanks for that. I use Birmingham every week. On Sunday I am going through with Miss A, so I will suggest I don't remove the cage.

Anyone tried with the body scanners at Dusseldorf?

Does anyone have experience with taking a cage on a cruise ship? I’m thinking of bringing it on in my bag and putting it on while onboard, not wearing it to board.

Also, what about sex toys - strap on, for example?
