Been considering one for he last couple of weeks , what's everyone's experiences ? Would then probably get my looker 02 modified
Definitely recommend it @Lockdown had mine for 16 years plus now, @ 8 mm/0 gauge and works well with my Ti-600
Actually getting a PA this Sunday!! So Nervous yet so excited!! Man I wish I could have just done it as a walk-in. Having to make an appointment makes me think about it too much!!
@Gibson1506 You will be fine, it only stings a little. Had mine done a little while ago now, and no issues. Don't go stupid trying to hang anything on it too quick. @Wendygirl Sound like someone could do with your words of wisdom Hugs Lucy x
@Gibson1506 Lol Drink lots water on the day go in get stabbed drink more water . Don't fiddle with it and let it heal a bit . Xx Wendy
@Wendygirl Thank you! I have been drinking water for 3 days lol dreading the first umm "trip to the bathroom" after.
@Lucy I hope you are right! I'm sure ill make it through. just want it over so i can start the healing process.
@Gibson1506 It's fine it will hurt like hell for about 10 seconds. Just make sure you are hidrated, haven't had too much caffeine. And your have eaten so your blood sugar levels are up and good. I saw a guy faint quite spectacularly when I was in there and it wasn't a PA - just an ear piercing. Hugs Lucy x
I got one 2 months ago and wrote a report. Search for PA Piercing Report. I found that it did hurt but the pain is brief. Healing has gone fine. Not yet healed enough to use it for a device though.
It's no biggie really! Closed eyes, took a deep breath, oh! Your done already!? My piercing story. Lol
How long after were you able to wear a device? I don't think i would ever use the PA for security purposes really. Thank you for the Info!
Based on this I told my Princes all she needs to do is tell me and I would do this... Here response was "Oh my"!
@Lockdown Well, I wish I could tell you. my pericer had to reschedule as she came down sick. So i'll have to wait until next week :/
I will wait patiently for your report , I'm guessing that the one I read that bled a lot must of gone through a vessel
I just posted on another post about this, you might look over there for more details. However in short. No blood loss when the piercing happened (few drops) only after hitting it at home did I have some blood. Followed the directions I was given for aftercare, everything went perfect. Stretched to a 2G and wear a Looker 03 and very happy with the fit and security. Have gone over 100 days with no removal of any kind and no issues. I am very active, mountain biking, running, racketball, lifting, so on so forth with no issues with it. (Just use a jock strap to keep it in place).
Well my piercer is still away I guess. I haven't heard anything from the shop. I'm guessing i might have to travel to get this done, since they are the only one in the area that I trust. Hoping for sooner rather then later so maybe it will be all healed before swimsuit time! i will keep you informed as soon as it happens though. Still looking forward to it, for the most part.
