Hi there, hoping someone can help with a little issue we have come across. I am happily lock up in her Jailbird with the security screw. However, She found some plastic locks and I have been using those instead as she likes to be able to snap one off and get me out for a bit. Also, with business travel coming up she does not want me away without a key (just in case) but does not trust me. the little plastic locks are perfect for Her and it gives that nice number I have to send a photograph of when installed. However, they are quite thin and this makes the cage move a small amount. Without me reverting to wrapping a small amount of tape around the lock so it fits better, are there any thicker plastic disposable locks available that she can snap off? Refitting the screw is not an option when I am home as she wants instant access. Hopefully, someone can help as I cant find any thicker plastic locks. thanks
Hi JB2021, Well, the two styles I've tried are these, which seem to be more common: https://imall.com/product/Disposabl.../aliexpress.com/4000122291323/144-28554710/en and these: https://chastityx.com/product/5-piece-disposable-plastic-chastity-locksrandom-color/ ON EDIT: I just found these, but not sure they would work on a chastity device, but might be worth a shot...serialized zip ties: https://www.cabletiesandmore.com/serialized-flag-zip-ties I think the latter style are a bit wider, but I'm not sure. I never measured or compared them in that way. Which style are you using now? Or are you using something else? Good Luck, ~subrick
I have the first style in black thanks. Just ordered the second style off Amazon as they look thicker. Thanks very much
She could just give you a key to the security screw in some type of sealed envelope with something written on the seal. I would try your best to just stick to the screw they use or get one of the ABUS metal locks to go in place for your business trips.
Well I have had the screw in a see through security envelope that is locked with the Plastic padlock but she fancies a pure plastic lock on the Jailbird. I am hoping we go back to that at some point
You could use the plastic numbered plastic locks that you have, and supplement them with a standard plastic zip tie through the same hole? Then you'll be able to use those easily available but thin numbered ones, and the zip tie when pulled tight will have the advantage of holding the device firmly together. You'd only need the very smallest size of zip tie, the cost will be pennies.
You could get some rubber tubing to go around the plastic locks to make them thicker, would look a lot neater than using tape.
