Sleeping in the cage.

Took me three months before I could wear all night long. Now I do not even notice I am wearing my Jailbird. Comfort is a non issue after all this time. I will suggest placing a pillow between your legs. If you sleep on your back it can take the weight of your cage so it does not pull down on you all night. If you sleep on your side it serves the same purpose and doesn't let your legs press against it from both sides.

Your body will eventually get used to wearing it to bed but it is one of those things that force you to realize that fantasy seldoms translates well into reality. You just have to power through it if you are serious about chastity. I only woke up twice this month but I am 66 years old.

 

You'll find a lot of answers to that situation on this site and most, if not all, are appropriate. In my case, the shorter the cage the better. The fit of the base ring is important as well. Mine is presently about 43/44mm down from 45mm on the previous.
The most painful device I've worn so far was at the beginning was my CB-6000 which was WAY too long and allowed me to gain most of my erection which caused it to pull on my scrotum. Once I went shorter, the nocturnal erection attempts slowed/stopped, or as Vinny suggests, you just get used to it.
Another situation that causes this is what a friend used to crudely call a "piss hard." Meaning you need to pee in the middle of the night so being careful to cut fluid intake in the evening prior to bedtime could mitigate that situation.

 

The base ring of my CB-3000 device was painful in the night, when I switched to the HolyTrainer v2 it improved enormously, the night time erections (or attempts to erect) still pull at my scrotum but main difference is that they do not hurt anymore.
I later switched from the regular to the small tube and it improved even more.
I have also a very short (40 mm) steel Chinese device and the nights in this one are good also.
So in that respect I can only second the advice that the shorter the tube (or cage) is, the better.
When too short it will not disturb your sleep but will cut painfully in your penis head (my experience with some 25 mm devices..)
There are nights that I don't even wake up.
With a painful ring it helps sometimes to put some lubricant around the ring, but then of course you need to be careful which lubricant you choose or you will stain the sheets.

I agree, fit is key. I was never able to sleep in my CB-6000. Once I upgraded to the MM Jailbird, it's 24/7 now. The difference in comfort of a custom made, perfect fit cage is night and day.

 

How much did it cost?

 

Opinions above re CB6000 are accurate and any cage that size allows the penis to swell too much which causes the base ring to be pushed forwards with the end result of sever pain around the ball sac and most likely eventual skin damage to the sides of the sac meaning you having to stop your chastity while you heal.
Once we were advised by an experienced chastity mistress to use a 'much' shorter cage the problem was significantly reduced.
A small cage 4cm or less does not allow the penis to swell enough to cause the pressure on the sac due to the base ring. It also has significant benefits during the day too.
Bending is easier, it is more discrete, its very comfortable due to the fact the penis is kept very small.

Try a shorter cage and decrease the size until you find the right mix of cage and base ring that suits your body.

I wear a 4cm cage with urethral insert and a 40mm base ring which is secure and very very comfortable. There are plenty of examples in my photo gallery

I'm getting used to wearing my cage, and sleeping in it. It is a very short metal one. I had worn it off and on for the summer, but couldn't seem to sleep in it. Now that I've gotten used to wearing it I've been able to go four straight nights in it.

 

Hi, I am wearing holy trainer v2 now for 9 days straight 24h a day. I do wake up twice with nocturnal erections and go for pee. These erection can be sometimes quite painful and the suck turns red as the penis is trying to escape and pulling the balls as far as it can. I ordered the large one originally and now going to get smaller ring and smaller tube and see. I need something airport friendly, so unfortunately I can't go for metal one.
Otherwise HTv2 is perfect, discreet and comfortable. I go gym, swimming and all. Having no problem at all.

 

Exactly, I've been in one almost 24/7 the last 2+ years and can't complain at all.

 

waking up and painful morning wood are caused by the cage being too big, especially being too long.

Rather than spend time and money trying different devices, you could see what size works for you by putting some padding in the end of your tube to shorten it, and see if that helps solve the problem.
When you do have the right size, it will take a few nights for your body to learn that erections are futile, (rather than trying to do it anyway), so do persevere with it until you're sure of how small a cage you need, it'll be worth it.

 

i has this one on at nitetime and it is very very nice and comfy and i can sleep ok in it.

I do envy your ability to wear that.
My friend controlling my denial likes me to have a cage that gives room for some attempted growth caused frustration.

I guess if you live with your partner swapping cages at night is an easy to achieve practice., and POINTING A FINGER AT NO_ONE it re-enforces who's in control and in some very few cases makes a busy or disinterested key holder at least give you a minutes attention.

BTW Jemima I swear you are getting thinner.

I am not that experienced, but can fully agree that this is a size issue.
I had a CB before a Birlocked and a HTv2 with standard tube. I had always problems while seeping.
Since I changed to the small tube on the HTv2 everything went fine.

Jemima, that looks exactly like the one I've been locked in for the past 21 days. I agree, at least for me, it's pretty comfy also.

 

@filltee yes its easy to swap cos the ring bit is the same so only the cage bit is swap. and please i not going thinner cos i am weigh when i'm at the doctor and i'm still same weight.

 

The same ring makes sense. My ring is not hinged and is a bit of squeeze to get into. Which helps with creating the sense of not wanting to take it off.
With a live in partner seperate night and day cages sounds like a good way to go.

And ..sorry about the getting thinner comment .. no offence intended.

 

yes that why its good cos its a bit of a fiddle trying to get the ring off. and it ok bout you saying i'm thin.

 

Heh, I have to get up several times a night whether I have a cage on or not.

Seriously though, what helped a lot was to go off caffeine and be sure to not drink much of anything an hour or two before bedtime. That helps with the urination issue but there are still some erection issues but I wake up more often because of a sore back than because of problems with my cage.

 

I think we that start in the chastity life style have had our issues when first getting used to sleeping with it on at night. I went the path many do, the CB6000 (not sleep friendly for me), then the CB6000s (I was able to get some sleep), then the HTv2 standard (much better than the CB6000s), then the HTv2 short and was able to sleep the entire night. One thing I also did was stop drinking liquids after 9PM that too helped. I am now in a steel cage that is a little shorter than the HTv2 short and I wear it 24/7 and it has yet to wake me!

 

Jem that's a lovely pic and such a nice little package. Its a little smaller than my current cage.
Would be ideal under tight jeans making you almost disappear.
