Legality is always an issue. However, there are also rules against serving young people alcohol, giving them tattoos, and the like - but that never seems to stop people. So if JoroinCharge's friend (discretely) asks around at local tattoo and body piercing places, she'll probably find someone willing to do it in a "private setting"

Of course, that doesn't mean she should blindly go with the first person who offers. Any qualified piercer should be able to tell her roughly how many genital (or whatever piercing's in question) they've performed, and have a photo album of their past work. You don't want some random person or newbie sticking needles in your body, right? After all, they're going to need to give you aftercare instructions and some basic supplies.

Just to be safe, though, I'd suggest writing out a full description of the piercing scene, and have the guy in question sign it (maybe even get it notarized). If legal liability is really a strong concern, video tape or perhaps even bring in a friendly "third party" to witness the scene. Should all hell break loose, and it did end up in court, having that written description of what was supposed to happen, and a witness to verify that it did happen that way, would help a lot.

 

Oh, there's another option worth mentioning - make a party out of his getting pierced. There was an amateur video floating around a month or two ago, of some college guy getting a prince albert piercing (possibly on a bet - I wasn't clear). And apparently he invited a bunch of male and female friends to watch the experience. There's standing around talking, laughing . . . several are even videotaping it on their smart phones.

I don't know the lady in question, but something like that might work, if she wanted to make the experience less . . . vanilla.
