I have heard a lot of males in chastity commenting on how after a few days/hour they get a burning sensation underneath the base ring and have attributed it to the base ring itself being too tight.

I have experienced the same thing on and off ever since first being locked. The device I am in now is custom made but occasionally the burning returns. A little while ago I figured out, in my case anyway, what exactly was causing the problem and have an immediate solution.

In my case, what was happening was the hairs underneath were getting between the ring and the skin in certain circumstances and the hairs themselves were being pulled at underneath. The best solution I have found so far is lanacane anti chaffing cream. Put some underneath where you get the burning, make sure you get some under the ring, and for me, the burning disappears instantly as the hairs now just slip between the skin and a ring. The relief is both immediate and long lasting.

So if you have the burning sensation at the base of the a ring, give it a go.

( for those locked males who use the burning as an excuse to get out.....sorry. For those Dommes who have been looking for a way to keep their males locked longer but have to let them out because of the burning sensation........you're welcome :) )

I have tried this a few times, but just by adjusting the device a bit seems to help the problem go away but thanks for sharing.

I always found it was where the skin folded onto itself in creases and caused restriction in the tiny vessels of the skin by moving the device slightly or in the act of rubbing the area you free up the crease slightly and the burning subsides for a while again. Pleanty of lube or lotion helps stop the device sticking in the same position and lets the folds of skin move around.

Just keep the hairs short and whenever you wash or shower apply baby oil gel, Not as messy as the oil and has worked for me whenever I feel any sore or tenderness but I've been wearing one for that long now I seldom need to apply anything.

I have had the skin on fire issue many times. I offer it up as a penance to Mistress. I feel she would like me to have the discomfort.
However when I was fitted with a Mature Metal jailbird the pain was too much. I now understand the issue perfectly. Its a spacer issue. A little more space below lets the skin move around. This is caused by the spacer at the top being a little longer. It makes sense when you look at the device made up fully in hand. Jailbird permanent is the best thing that has ever happened to me. 365/24/7

This is an issue with all plastic rings, and it can be brutal. If you are going to be in plastic I have found that the flat ring as is found on the CB6000 series is far less painful. A high quality stainless steel flat ring will eliminate the problem almost entirely.

I'm in a Lori's stainless steel device with a flat thick oval testie ring. It also has two short dulled metal rods/spikes at about 10 o-clock and 2 o-clock to limit slipping. It may sound bad but is 100% comfortable and tighter than I could ever endure in any plastic ring. As of today I've been in it 24/7 for last seven weeks with absolutely no problem.

When i was locked in my CB2000 that burning was more frequent than when i started to wear a steel ring. The ergo ring i am locked in now hardly ever burns. The only time that tends to happen is an occasional "middle of the night arousal" where the sheer tightness of everything wakes me up.

I found moving/lubing worked well for me to reduce the immediate sensation.

There is no difference between plastic ring and metal.
Unfortunately, all of them cause burns ...

For me it isn’t the hair. I wax regularly. I will have to try the lanacane.

Shaving and an occasional application of vasoline under the ring keeps the burning away. I can go 2 weeks or longer without removing my plastic device.
