How does the urethral insert feel? I usually struggle with them. It feels very uncomfortable in the urethra. Is it maybe available with another insert.

I tend to prefer a short insert for reasons of hygiene.
if it's a flexible silicone one then it can easily be cut to your preferred length.

 

I had problems with these silicone tubes several times. No clue why.
Maybe because I cooked them to sterilize. Could be the texture got rough from cooking.

I prefer steel inserts with them I never had problems.

That's a great question. Like others, I believe there isn't an automatic link between wearing a chastity cage and a decrease in masculinity.

It's important to note that masculinity is a social construct that varies across cultures and time periods.

So when I wear a cage, I don't feel any less of a man, nor do I act as if I'm not a man. I remain myself.

Wearing a cage in such circumstances is a confirmation of the person's masculinity and for some, a sign of a virility that should be tamed, as one would do with a wild animal.

When I tried wearing a flat cage for a few days, and a fabricated innie for a few hours, I had the same problems, very messy when trying to pee and impossible to keep on for multiple days without getting smelly.

What I did find was, while the visual impact is stong, so too is the fact that when your penis is tucked away so much, you can hardly even feel it. When it's lying limp or erect in your pants, or (more often) locked in a device, every movement can be felt, but squashed away behind an innie, there's no movement, no feeling, it's almost as it it wasn't there at all.

For me it made me feel much more submissive, not so much feminised, more like being neutered. Something had been taken away, rather than the opposite having been added.
It also feels more submissive because I had even less ability to stimulate myself, in a cage you can attempt some futile touch, but behind a flat or an innie it's just completely inaccessible.

 

This is my exact feeling. I've been sizing down since November, and with each step becomeing smaller, the more submissive I felt, and my manhood being taken away.

I also have a castration fantasy, but when I think about the real implications and consequences, I snap out of it. Having my dick becoming smaller every time with each chastity device I get, I feel less as a man. I'm currently on a small cage (the one in my avatar), only 1.4". My goal is to get to a nub cage which almost negates my dick like a flat one would do, but it's not as extreme as it is. For me is close enough to me being castrated, having a useless nub instead of a penis. Right now, with my small cage I feel it like it is a useless micro dick.

But that doesn't mean that I would jump to sissy stuff, nope, not at all, for me I still don't want to be feminine.
