As far as the cage vs. belt question goes, it is purely an individual decision. Everyone's anatomy is slightly different, and as such, will be most comfortable with different devices. There's no right or wrong to it. Personally, I am in an Evotion Bijou, anchored to a frenum piercing. I've been in it 24/7 for over 6 years. I went thru a number of different cage styles, as well a couple of belts before concluding that the Bijou was the way to go. My sac is very small, therefore base rings fit very poorly. They are either so tight that the blood supply is cut off, and it becomes painful quickly, or it slips off easily. I tried a cheap Chinese belt, but couldn't get comfortable with that either. I had a leather belt for awhile (see in my photos) that looked great, but didn't really prevent access. So, I decided on a shaft-only device. For security, I decided on the piercing. In retrospect, I would probably recommend a PA. But I was nervous about harming the urethra, so I got a frenum. Unfortunately, my 1st frenum tore thru, and I had to start over. I eventually figured out that the key to a frenum is to get an adequate amount of tissue. Make sure that the piercing is deep (and wide) enough so that only the balls at the ends of the bar are visible at rest. I've had no more tearing issues, and it now holds my cage very stable. In fact, I just ordered a new Bijou because the old one was getting harder to keep free of odors, and a piece of the shaft broke recently. I may video the whole ceremony of placing the new cage and going "permanent" with a rivet when it comes in.

I wish I knew beforehand how much wife would embrace this lifestyle. I really just thought it would be another toy in our sexual repertoire. Its slowly becoming more and more permanent. I write this as I sit here with my dick locked in a stainless steel cage and I dont have any clue when it will come off.

Regarding cages I would say start off cheap on eBay with Chinese cages to get a rough idea of what you like. Metal/plastic/silicone, padlock or stealth lock, hinged ring or non hinged ring there's so many variations it's a bit of a minefield.

Regarding partners be patient, put yourself in their position and try to communicate as best as you can. Be brave and have those embarrassing conversations l. Make it fun and don't pressure your partner.

Be kind to yourself and don't stress about not being where you want to be straight away.
I'm in a good place at the moment but it's taken 5 years. There will be setbacks and days when u feel like giving up. It's ok to take a break when life gets in the way.

Do you know anything about a glans loop that Evotion does to keep the penis secured. I swore I read something on here like that.

I would say to aspiring chastity players: don't rush it; take the time to find your proper measurements for a proper cage, if chastity is something that you're serious about pursuing long-term.

Start slow. Slower than you think.
Don’t ignore the smaller sore spot or issue. Once addicted, and it will become an addiction, you will always come back to wanting the cage. And each time back, it will progress quicker and easier and be a longer duration until / if there’s another break.
Life will get in the way of the fantasy, and that’s ok.
