Okay, so over the last few months I've had to bail out of wearing because nothing I've had has fit well. It's all fit well for years. So my body has either decided to punch me in the taint, possible, or the weather in the new place I'm in has caused problems.

So, here's what I'm doing in consultation with my wife and this august body:

I went and bought a chastity holder belt elastic thing.
I also bought one of those new starter metal cages with the 40, 45, and 50mm rings.
I'm currently wearing the 45mm ring.

I'm curious to see what the metal combined with the 45 mm ring will do.

This is not the ideal cage but let's see what happens.

Cold weather and being high and tight can be big problem. To the point where you need a least two differs size rings. At least is is with me when I travel for work.

That's what I'm trying to find out. I've never really dealt with weather before in my life in any context. Thanks. Any advice is appreciated.

Like I said, if I’m in the cold weather, everything changes. I have a few different devices that I try, and sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Trying to find that combination that works in cold weather and not be so tight as to make it uncomfortable, or having a ball slip out because it’s too loose he’s a pain in the ass sometimes. I’m sure other guys have no problem but for me it sucks.

Success so far with the cheap metal cage. But thermal underwear might be the way to go. I ordered some better lotion as well. This cold is murder on all my skin.

Share your concerns! I'm high and tight and need a lightweight device. Most recent cages have been a knock off cobra and a cherry keeper with a ergonomic curved base ring. Any suggestions for cages welcome...

i recently bought cage from feifeidesign (etsy). I am really high/tight and also live in relatively cold environment. Their base ring really made big difference for me. I am wearing even smaller ring than usual (39mm, not too big when hanging "low") but i just dont get any ballburn even when weather drops below -25 celcius. Not sure is it the combination of good gap and shape of the base ring or just the good shape of base ring but feels like i have figured out my problems. Also feifeidesign can do custom cages, i have one already in production.

I’ve ordered a cage from feifei. Pleased to see the good reviews here. I get on well with ergonomic shaped base rings but they are usually with a flat edge which I don’t get on with so I’m looking forward to one with a curved edge design. My cage part diameter is usually 32mm though and the ones they do are 35mm so might have to order a custom cage section at a later date

I’m high and tight. Wear a knockoff Holy Trainer V4 Nano with a 58mm base ring. During the day it fits comfortably well. When it gets cold, balls tend to pop out. The next smaller base ring (52mm) isn’t comfortable during the day.

Are larger base rings the normal for guys who are high and tight?

Sounds like you need to decrease the ball gap on the bigger ring as opposed to moving a ring size down

I’m impressed with my Feifei cage, using 48mm back ring and small cage, though I’ve got a smaller cage 32mm custom being made as the 35mm is just a bit too big for me. Ordered a 46mm back ring too incase the smaller diameter cage leaves too much space on the 48mm back ring.

Feifei are great on the communication front and seriously impressed at how fast production is. Seems to be working so much better for high and tight compared to the conventional circle back rings.
