MY-STEEL Locking plate upgrade.

This is my design.
The original My-Steel parts are unmodified, just my adapter (316 stainless) plus unmodified lock used instead of the original lock.
Of course Chastity Babes used the pink lock, but the 75IB/30 was my main target.
The pink BabyLock TM (which is available from Abus in blue as well) is also sold with laser engraving.
Right now a small batch of adapters is in production and should be available in about 2 weeks.
Purchase options aren't fully defined yet, but I'm located in the EU, so expect customs handling.
I have yet to verify if the lock adapter also works with the two anal lock shields and as the secondary lock on the total belts.
I assume it won't fit with the untouchable for the crotch, but will test that too. I will work for the main lock on those belts however.
As the main lock for hip total belts, the secondary lock can be too close on some belts.

I just received the parts.
So far everything looks and locks good.
I have testet as main lock, secondary lock on total belts and both types of anal locks on the continuous crotch bands..
They all worked fine, however, as I wrote earlier from feedback from Chastity Babes I know that on some total hip belts the locks can be too close together.
Also for the secondary lock on total belts, the lock is very protruding, especially because it is longer and doesn't follow the curve - also it covers the hole for the dildo attachment - maybe a future enhancement, but right now it is not possible.
I do own an unTouchable belt as well and those have an additional lock in the bottom to connect the cup section to the back part - however, I have miss placed the cup section and couldn't test it yet.

On my belt the distance may be too close for the longer 75IB/30 lock.
It is always a bit different when you wear a belt because when you lock it without wearing, the front shield can easily bent more backwards than worn.
I would suggest to test if you can insert the key before closing the lock to be safe.

 

This is how it works, the lock is put arround the new shackle.
You slide the shackle arround the original locking post, then flip the lock body, close the lock and you are protected.

got mine in the mail today. The shackle has a tight precision fit. Fantastic upgrade for a mysteel!

 

Of course it is a precision fit - no one wants a rattling belt ;-)
But My-Steel is a bit special in the chastity belt world, because they have a steel related business beyound belts.
Most of them are either handing of to contractors (like Neosteel or me for the adapters) or have a small work shop (like Carrara).
I own a few My-Steel belts and therefor a couple of locking plates and they are all within small tolerances.
Also the guy behind chastity babes tested it on several of his belts.

Is you belt with the traveling system option?
I'm a bit curious because I am working on another idea.

Usually it is cheaper if you source the locks locally and just order thr adapters, but I can delivery locks as well.

 

I do not have the travel system unfortunately! I’d like to send my belt back and have one fitted someday.
