I agree with this approach. It also makes the full erection feel fantastic when your finally able to have one and have been locked up for weeks at a time.

 

It's all in the eye of the beholder, in my opinion. I don't think being more submissive has to have any relation to being "feminized", as you can be submissive and male. It's more popularly associated with it though. However, being locked up, whether the cage is large or small, can be seen as giving yourself to another person, so there's already a submissive element to it. A smaller cage could range from being seen as this person simply having a tighter grip on you, or could be seen as a forced reduction of your manhood, depending how you choose to view it.

Flat cages interest me but what happens when you actually try to get erect? With a lot of cages your shaft can still expand, even if it goes inverted a bit. Does the entirety of your attempted erection go inside you?

For me, as the cages have gotten smaller, the (attempted) erections have gotten weaker. This was not true with the Holy Trainer, but I guess the cheery keeper is a better fit for me.
