Felt like I’d cracked chastity finally over the summer, 70+ days locked. Today the weather has dropped and I’ve really struggled to the point I had to take the cage off. The balls just want to run and hide inside me but obviously are stopped by the base ring and makes everything super tight like ball burn when I started out. using a 45mm ring (started out on a 50mm ring) and the gap is a 1/2 inch ball gap. Any help muchly appreciated
So thermal base wear? What type would you recommend? See that merino wool seem like the best at warmth Do women’s tights work as well or not as good as long johns?
I don't know the best brand as I have loads as I cycle 14 miles a day to and from work I wear them out quickly never tried lady's tights tbh I'm more a fishnets type lol
I eventually went to an HTV5 Nub with 2nd smallest ring that forces balls out. They cant "hide" if I get the cage on right. I had that happen with previous cages...bigger rings and CB series ... it was never fun when I could feel them pulling back through the ring. Now its interesting when I get up in the morning the balls are often pretty tight outside the ring to the point of almost straining. Usually they relax after a while. Being locked so long now (current is over 75 days..but am locked 98% of time 24/7 anyway) I am used to it and like that there no pull backs anymore.
I don’t have a problem with the ring size as the balls don’t pull back through the gap. The cage and gap keep the balls trapped but it’s more the trouble of them pressing against the ring where they are trying to recede back from the cold.
Just switched to my 50mm ring and so far seems more comfortable and less tight. Shall see how it goes over the next few days
I have both women’s rights / spandex sport pants / insulated sport pants and men’s (under armor). Not a whole lot of difference. A little more room in the pouch area of the men’s but not a huge difference. My wife used to buy me women’s spandex pants to wear cycling when it was cold because they were a lot cheaper than men’s and seemed to last a little longer.
Proper thermal base layers are the best option, they really help. Mens/womens it’s down to what you prefer, as long as there thermals.
The 45mm is still too tight. The 50mm has been far more comfortable but it then makes the gap slightly too big that I got a ball slip every now and then. I’ve got a new 47.5mm ring on order from mature metal so hopefully that is the sweet spot
