Started Locktober on the 4th. New cage delivery and hectic schedules combined for the delay.Had to uncage this morning due to severe irritation behind my balls. I'm really disappointed. I was locked up "until I want to use it again". We are starting our work week today. I was excited to get to go a full week as she likes me locked far less than I do. Now this. I'm focusing on the long term and staying healthy, but this was a rough one to take. I could really use some encouragement. Thanks in advance, Chaz
It’s going to work out. Loctober is what you make of it. You can start again once you heal, make sure you use appropriate lotions and creams. Good luck!
I used to sooth my skin with Vaseline. It worked immediately. I think your body will get used to the ring eventually. I haven't had to use any skin treatment for a long time now. Best wishes.
If it itches severely in addition to being irritated, you may have a nickel allergy if it's a stainless steel cage.
I keep getting a pressure sore, so extended healing time is in my immediate future. For me it will be Un-Locktober.
I use a heavier lotion all around my ring, keeps the skin of my balls from “sticking” on the steel. It’s completely comfortable all day, no pinching or anything and then at night it helps with the pulling when attempted erections happen.
I think we’ve all been there at some point. Health is way more important than the cage. Take the time to heal, then use Vaseline or lotion to prevent future issues while your body adjusts to the new cage. Once you’re back in tell your KH about your disappointment and maybe suggest doing your own Locktober. The whole point of it is to go a month (and let’s be honest, it’s only this month because it’s so easy to replace “Oc” with “Lock”) so just set a date a month later or do the whole NOvember thing. It’s your chastity journey so make it work for you. Whatever is decided good luck with it and the healing.
You don't need a cage to participate in Locktober. You will just have to make more of an effort. Having a cage on denying you access is one thing. Relying solely on pure willpower, now that's a challenge. Just because the cage doesn't work, doesn't mean it's over. It's only just begun.... Iso.
That sucks. And we're only a week in. You can always start later and go Into Nov Just be Locktober is in October doesn't mean you have to wait till Oct to be locked for a month. You can do that when ever you want. Focus on getting the right cage and the best fit first. Then once you do that go for a day or and see how things are, if all good just do one more day and keep going with that state of mind. If no problems (ball burn, chaffing, skin irritation or bruises or raw skin) then add another 24 hours. But again my focus would be getting the best fitting device first then worry about how long you'll be locked.
Just because you had to remove the cage to allow healing doesn't mean you have to give up on the goal of being chaste for the month. It will be harder and different but it's still doable. Your health, physically and mentally is what is most important.
You don't buy a new pair of hiking boots in the morning and go on a 25 miles hike in the afternoon. Your cage doesn't fit. Usually (but not always) Locktober is for folks who have a custom fit cage or a cage they have worn for a few weeks without issue.
I used utter cream lotion today as I’m back into a Lori 8c instead of the 5a I am selling. The rings can be tough but it’s more frustrating to not get hard… a catch 22 for sure. It’s easier to be in a non ball trap device longer for me. I have about 6 days in one before it has to come off usually and we switch to a pa only cage
