You could probably tap some threads into the hole for the padlock, then insert a security screw. It would be better if the tube on the base ring was longer sot hat there was a matching hole through both parts. Maybe your guy can change the tube on the base ring, or just make you a new base ring with a longer tube with a threaded cross hole.
Holy crap, that cage is longer than mine. But with how it doesn't curve all that downward with how long the cage is, it would definitely be a problem hiding it under clothing.
