Unfortunatly Lent does not include Sundays, so adding the Sundays from Feb 22 to Apr 8 is infact 46 days.....

I mentioned this thread and some of the controversial posts to my spouse / KH yesterday. I could tell she was interested. So later, I read to her some of the posts and my contributions (good or bad). She seemed to enjoy hearing them. I don’t think I’ve shared as much content from CM with her as I did yesterday. It was really good because I think it helped her to continue to understand and cement in her mind the value of chastity. So thank you to all for your contributions to this thread.

Now I’ll have to wait and see if she likes the idea of keeping me chaste for all of Lent. Recent developments seem to suggest that she might be quite comfortable with that idea now.

I just find it ironic that one would include activities for their religion that their religion would frown upon. Just my opinion.

I really dont think the faith would have anything to say on male chastity itself. Especially uf it brings s couple closet and more intimate. Certain facets I'm sure, like cuckolding for example would be frowned upon. The bible sees that as adultry.

 

I don’t feel I have religious views. How I live my life is simple, and pretty much the basis of most religions:

You know, treat others how you would expect to be treated yourself? Religion can become very contentious. There’s a whole lot of differing opinions. So my analogy of this:

If chastity was a religion it could be written that a period of 90 days should be endured to show your devotion to the chaste lifestyle….

Nobody jumps down anyone’s throat for not following this. For doing what they feel is right.

In fact we heatedly debate what real chastity is, but does it really matter as long as the person embarking on their own adventure feels worth in what they are doing?

 

@IB-Chaste Lent is of course connected with religion, but I'd adopt an approach for this 'locked for lent' time more less like @Lazlo Toth . Do it for yourself and and your internal spiritual growth. I share his perspective and I'm doing this for similar reason. Not necessarily strictly religious one.

I've been locked & denied for 3 weeks now. The realization that Easter is still 4 weeks away is daunting! This is obviously 15 days longer than Locktober!

I did a little research.... most observers of Lent consider Lent to end at sundown on Saturday, the night before Easter. I would be eager to let my KH wife know, but that's going to be the first night at a beach house packed with kids and grandkids.

Hi there, also locked for lent. This is the longest I have ever gone. This is tough, but in a weird way we are both enjoying it.

 

Not in it this year but will plan for next year.

Reminder on the calendar already. Sort of cool it begins on Valentine’s Day in 2024.
