Does anyone have experience with the Glans Retainer Ring from Badass Workroom?

I am having trouble understanding how it functions. As far as I can tell, a smaller ring goes around the head of the penis, which (hypothetically) would be difficult to remove while the device is locked.

Individual anatomy differs, but for me personally, I don't really see how a ring beneath the glans would prevent pullout. There isn't a meaningful difference in the size or thickness of the skin on and beneath the glans, so it seems to me that the ring would just slide off, even if it were tight. I would also worry about circulation.

If anyone has used this ring (or a similar ring from another manufacturer; I believe it started with Lori), I would love to hear your experience.

If the ring isn't small enough, it will let you slide out, but keep in mind that it's on a pivot below the penis, so as you try to pull out, it makes the ring tip at an angle, which in effect reduces the diameter of the ring, making it even harder to pull out.

I found the Lori one very painful with night time erections. It was a tube only device and with some lube, it was possible to slip out, especially if you used something to keep ring pushed forward while pulling. Would be super difficult to get it back in though without the key.

I think for a glans retainer to be somewhat escape proof, the ring has to be sized perfectly, and the tube would have to be solid like a BA-31

What do you feel is the best formula in measuring for the retainer ring?

I would imagine the ring needs to be notably smaller than the regular penis diameter, but not so small as to cause discomfort or circulation issues.

When I measure the circumference of the glans, I get ~100 mm, which would translate to a diameter of ~32 mm. However, I feel this must be too large for a functioning retainer.

I intend to purchase multiple so that I may find a correct fit, but I'd still appreciate general guidance on where to aim.

Maybe buy some sizing rings, rather than multiples of the real thing.

I don't feel that sizing rings would be effective indicators, given that they wouldn't actually be installed in the cage and I wouldn't be able to tell how they work.

I am similarly around 32mm diameter when measured behind the glans. When I was designing my retained cage I searched on here for quoted retaining ring sizes and most were just below 25mm inside diameter. So I printed out several rings and tried them and ended up at a best fit of 24mm inside diameter and 30mm outside diameter. Based on my single data point, the retaining ring inside diameter should be about 3/4 of the flacid diameter behind the glans. It takes a bit of work to get the head through the ring but once it is on it is comfortable.

    Thank you.

How long have you been able to wear the device? Any issues?

See my latest post in my thread linked above, I am not sure that I would recommend a retainer ring.

I don't understand why people buy cages and try to defeat them? It makes no sense to me.

It's the same reason you would want to test the efficacy of anything you buy. Like penetration testing on a network, you need to know where your vulnerabilities are in order to defend against them.

Chastity cages, ostensibly, are to prevent sexual gratification. So, to make sure they do that, you have to try to gratify yourself. If the cage can be easily defeated, it doesn't serve much of a purpose.

What is so hard to understand? It’s a form of intimate bondage and control. If you can easily escape from handcuffs, then they don’t work. Knowing you can’t get out is the whole point.
