    Engineering Manager (Control Systems, Instrumentation and Electrical).

    I mostly work in an office, however there is significant amount of site visits which usually involves climbing up scaffolding or process plant and other physical activities.

    All done caged, however there are some secure sites where there is a very thorough security search and a zero tolerance jewellery policy for this I cannot be caged otherwise I would denied access to the site and my employers informed. I try and delegate such visits as much as possible.

    For guys in construction/farming etc- what type of pants do you wear? Jeans etc? I find jeans difficult to move around freely to do any work without constant adjustment. Same with my dress slacks to even bend over and put on socks. Seems there is always a bind or squeeze going on. (I am a bit overweight so I know that doesn't help).

    I wear relaxed fit jeans, but they still cause issues when sitting, which requires adjustment. I’m on the road a lot, getting in and out, and sitting more often than not. Also a bit short for my weight, which adds to the difficulty. So far I haven’t attempted being locked while working. When warm weather gets here, I will try my loose fitting shorts.
