Cold cage

Yes. It is colder especially when only wearing panties over it. Mentally I just remind myself that I deserve to be locked in cold steel. Practically I make sure to wear warmer underwear and pants.

 

I never noticed any such issues. If the cage is tight against your skin, there should be no problems due to the good thermal conductivity. Unless you like to run around naked in the winter or until a fan of ice bathing ;-)

 

Wear it all the time and the body heat will soon keep it warm. Unless you're wearing very little other clothing, the crotch is one of the warmest parts of the body usually.

 

That's not quite how thermodynamics work.

Steel is a way better conductor of heat than plastic, so even though its at the same temp as anything else, it will conduct the heat away from hot to cold i.e. it will feel colder. Best example is a spade with a wooden shaft/handle. Both the wood and the steel are at the same temp, but the steel will conduct the warmth of you hand away quicker, therefore feeling colder.

Of course the advantage to all this, is that with a colder cock, the blood flow will be less and no chance of an uncomfortable erection in the cage.

In below freezing weather while snow blowing my cabin driveway I have used Hand warmer packets. They work well

 

I am wearing a full belt where all parts are steel, so depending on how I sit/walk a part could be colder or warmer. Is there a lot of space left in your cage?

I agree with above posters that a tight enough cage will warm up but I did sense similar things like you, but that was really only when wearing very thin faux-silk panties

 

well it freezy here at the mo but my little cage is warm

 

In cold weather I use a cut sock to keep things warm. I basically take a sport sock and cut the last 4-5" of the toe section off and use that to cover things up and it works wonders.

 

People who don't work outside for living don't have a clue about what you're asking, they sit in a climate controlled office all day.
The answer is yes, the cold does affect the metal cage , I highly suggest thermal underwear and possibly pocket warmers.

 

I was out working in the cold recently and the only issue I had was that my balls retracted from the cold, causing pain at the ring. I had to come inside and apply some Vaseline to stop the ball burn.

 

But the scrotum will become also tighter to keep the temperature of the testicles in the wanted area thus the tension on the A-Ring will rise.

I live in a very cold climate, but never noticed a problem with a cold cage. I do wear a titanium cage which has lower thermal conductivity so maybe that's significant. Perhaps this can be a good excuse for you to get another cage upgrade?

 

The smaller the cage the better and keep it tightly to the body. My steel Nub never gets cold.

 

if the mans cage is go cold then he shud wear some nice warm knickers.

Oh yes if not dressed properly i can definately feel the cold and my balls shrinking trying to find warm place. My mistress most times will allow change to resin cage but that is her choice.
