So before I got my support strap my cage would pull away hard with morning erections, and I started to get chafed, but the other night my wife teased me for a good while and then let me out for PIV, I couldn't get the base ring off of course so she said leave it on it will be easier to lock you back up, which only excited me more. However during the act the ring got so tight it cut off my circulation and got really painful. Ending in severe chafing, which caused bleeding. I've been trying to use numbing cream and Vaseline but it's not really healing, I'm trying not to come out of the cage butI think I have to. What is your thoughts?
Is Vaseline good for healing? I’m sure it blocks the air which is a necessity in the healing process. Is numbing cream good for chafing? Does it not make it more lubricated (the Vaseline too) and prone to movement. Increasing the chaffing? The best answer is to absolutely remove the cage and allow it to heal. That’s sensible… Caged men are not sensible. We like being in our cages. I would be reluctant too. I would try a healing/barrier cream. In the UK we have sudocrem. It’s most sold as cream for nappy rash cream but it has other uses such as burns etc. I’d try using something like that for a week or so. see if there’s an improvement before having to remove it. Id probably keep 100% caged for the duration to restrict the erections.
I am sure this is probably covered in another thread or forum but there are tons of threads to try to go through. In all your combined experiences what's best for putting the cage on (location, body oil, lube, ky, Vaseline etc) daily maintenance and when the irritation burning starts? I notice after showers once dry I don't feel anything, best to keep it dry or lightly lubed up? I currently use a body oil similar to bady oil for putting it on, if I feel I need more though the day than I'll add some usually just where the base ring hits, if it's getting really annoying I use more of a Vaseline type substance that stays on longer.
I use Vaseline like you stated, it lasts longer and it absorbs naturally and doesn't leave you sticky
